Calcon Decks

Nathan and his crew at Calcon were wonderful to work with in the rebuild of our hardwood deck. Despite my challenging them by selecting an exceptionally hard wood and a modern railing system, not to mention the very steep terrain of the project, the team's approach to design, detail and safety was most professional, and the result confidently solid and beautiful.
The best compliment I can give is that we engaged Calcon a second time to renovate a bathroom, a project that came out excellently, and by my referring them to several of my friends.
I would definitely engage them again.

I really enjoyed working with Nathan and his crew for our project. We had them largely rebuild our deck, plus install a custom roof. The craftsmanship is excellent, and Nathan brought a number of suggestions that helped bring our plans to life in a really beautiful way with touches to ensure long-term durability. Initial pricing and add-ons were all reasonable. Would definitely work with Calcon again.

Nathan and his team truly are experienced contractors. The attention to detail and insight to design are like no others I have worked with. Nathan created a room addition which included French doors and a beautiful deck. Throughout the time it took to complete, his crew was respectful of our property and left the work area organized and tidy. This team is very easy to work with. I would highly recommend Calcon to anyone wanting to add on or build a deck.

Nathan and his team did awesome job in building patio cover. I was earlier having an ugly design with 4 posts , Nathan improved the plan by reducing no of posts to 2, it came out so well and beautiful. And he helped me out in getting the permit approved from the city. Very good person to work with. Wish I could give him more stars.

We contacted Calcon Decks about installing a composite deck in our backyard. It was a challenge to get a permit given the number of easements associated with our yard. Nathan was very diligent with working with the county to the permit. We could not have been more pleased with the results of the new deck. It was very well constructed. We will definitely be calling them for future projects.

Nathan and his crew did a wonderful job of demolishing the old deck and replacing it with Trex decking and railing. So much nicer and I don't have to paint it!

Awesome work! Nathan completed a difficult building restoration project for us, within the budget we requested, and did work beyond our initial expectations. The whole team was professional and courteous, highly recommend!

We spoke with several contractors before making our decision to go with Calcon. From the initial bid to the final walkthrough, Nathan made certain every request, every detail we asked for was covered. We had a dream that we would replace our existing, 25+ year old wooden deck with something much larger and more spectacular. Nathan and his team absolutely delivered. They are organized and methodical and I have never had a contractor actually clean the site each day before they left the job. I highly recommend Calcon, Nathan and his team. We enjoyed having them here and now they are gone and we are left with a stunning deck that is the talk of our Sammamish neighborhood!!

Nathan and the Calcon team were fantastic to work with. They tore down and then rebuilt the deck in my backyard using Trex decking. I trusted their opinions and in the end am very satisfied with what they built. They even found and replaced a structural beam that, if not treated, would have been quite costly in the future (they did charge for it but it was reasonable). I would highly recommend Calcon Decks to anyone looking for a capable builder and would certainly use them again.

Nathan built Patio cover and deck for us and quality of his workmanship is excellent. He is very professional and and has eye for details. What I liked about him compared to others which I got the quote was that he explained in detail the engineering, he knows his work. He really cares on the architecture details and makes sure, that it fits and aligns well with current building architecture. He is a great contractor and would recommend him for projects. I will definitely hire him for my future projects.

CalCon took on a huge project at our place in Anacortes, WA. He rebuilt a whole ocean facing deck, installed new railings/glass, rebuilt a pergola, and replaced wood with more resilient coastal material. He also added a deck drainage systems along with finishing under the decking. I highly recommend him for any deck project. His crew is very hard working and they did an absolute amazing job. Very competent contractor that has a great attention to detail and kept within the budget.

I recently had to have a large deck replaced. This is the 1st major job I have had to do since the loss of my husband. Being a bit leary of the process and where to go, I contacted Nathan for a bid. He was quick to get back to me and when I explained I would like it done prior to June, he worked my project into his schedule and it is now complete. His care and patience with me through it all was very much appreciated. He and the crew did a great job and clean-up after was well done. I would highly recommend them.

I was very impressed with Nathan from the start who was confident and willing to take on a difficult job replacing our deck that no one else wanted to touch. He was consistently on time, kept the job site organized, and had a strong crew who knew what they were doing and worked well together. I am very pleased with the results so far. We have one more phase of work still to complete and I look forward to enjoying the finished product. Would highly recommend.

Great crew. Super efficient and able to work through any inevitable issues with minimal fuss. We designed a massive 2 part deck and they delivered - including replacement of rotted out elevated deck. See attached pictures for scale.

Nathen build beautiful Trex deck for us and he did start on time and completed on time with great quality. He is very responsible making it better and cleaning after he is done. Very professional and highly recommend him and i would like to hire him for my future projects and refer my friends for their outdoor decks.

We had Calcon replace our deck from the ground up. Nathan and his crew were phenomenal and the end product was spectacular! The job was completed on time, with no added expenses or unforeseen surprises. Any changes on our request were discussed and agreed upon, and Nathan was always flexible and accommodating. We have dealt with many contractors over the years and Calcon has been one of the best. If you are in need of a deck install they are the company of choice.

Calcon and Nathan have been unbelievable to work with for our projects.
The crew is professional and the work is over the top.
They took our architect’s designs of a backyard covered patio and made it next level. Using premium grade material such as mahogany and clear cedar beautifully.
Calcon also built an outside lounge area using Trex decking material (they are the premier certified authorized trex installer in WA state I believe).

We contracted with Nathan French of CALCON to rebuild our old deck from the ground up. Nathan was very knowledgeable, with a great attention to detail. He kept us informed through the entire process and accepted our input on various product choices and minor changes. He had a great apprentice working with him who was able to collaborate, and take on many aspects of the project with little guidance. They worked well together. CALCON was knowledgeable about code and construction techniques. I quite often watched their progress with interest, and they were more than willing share tips and techniques, and answer my many questions with a smile. We extended our project to include a rebuild of our front porch that including two 11.5 foot 6x6 posts that supported a roof overhang over our porch. All surfaces used our choice of the TimberTech Azek decking product, and an aluminum welded picket railing made by Clear View. CALCON was knowledgeable of all of these products and their installation. We highly recommend CALCON.

Nathan is one of the best contractors we have hired. He was consistently on-time, very professional and enjoyable to work with. The next big project we have to do at our house will be done by Nathan and the Calcon Team.
