We purchased an existing home, that showed signs of animal dropping in the attic. Such as Squirrels, mice birds etc... I contacted Chris at C& R Insulation and we discussed options. He then asked if we would be using the attic for storage since it was so large. I told him we were and he explained the open cell foam spray insulation. He explained the process and how they would suck out all of the old insulation and sanitize the area and how nothing was on the floor and that the foam was sprayed on the underside of the roofs plywood. it would be open to use as we wanted and the attic would become encapsulated and we could put anything temperature sensitive up there since the temperature would never be above 10 degrees above our living area. He also told us the initial cost was more but over the long run the insulation would save us in heating cost by about 30%.
Well we did it and it is one of the best things we could have done. Plenty of storage space and the temperature is not much different then our living area. Thanks again Chris for being responsive and doing a great job. Highly recommend

Chris did a quick online estimate for my 32-year old attic and then came out withing 24 hours for a thorough look and sent me and gave me an estimate promptly.
I had gotten another estimate through BGE Home and C and R's estimate was 37% cheaper for exactly the same detailed service and exact same insulation product getting my attic to a R49 with plugging holes and insulation bats around the edges.
The two installers came out on time two days later and laid down plastic sheeting so there was zero mess in my house and professionally completed the job in a little over 2 hours. they were all business and knew what they were doing.
My home, especially our 2nd floor and bedroom are much warmer now and I like using a local contractor. Should have done this 20 years ago as our upstairs has been much colder than downstairs.

Very knowledgeable, corrected an error in LED lighting design made by the original installers. They know the hardware and light design aspects well. Their work was very timely, neat, and fairly priced. The quality of their work led to us extending lighting replacement in other rooms of the house. If and when we get to installing LED lighting in the rest of the house, we will definitely call them. It helps also that they are a family business and care about the firm.

I have used C&R three times. Every occasion has been totally professional. The most recent time I had Jose and Weller do the work and they were like watching artists at work. When they left, there was no cleanup to be done, I could just continue with my project. My experiences have been great!

After a failure of a past fiberglass insulation for an under room craw space falling down I researched alternatives. Did a google search on Sunday afternoon for foam insulation and found the site for C & R insulation. I read about the advantages of using foam for my project. I contacted them Monday morning and discussed the project details, size and was given a proposed cost. I was lucky that they had an opening that Tuesday morning at 8 am. While there I showed them a side shed and for a modest cost they did that also. C & R insulation personal were highly professional, knowledgeable and performed an outstanding job. C&R Insulation did some spray foam in a bathroom wall that the previous homeowner neglected to insulate during a renovation. They were able to drill down from the attic and save me from having to rip out any tile. Wall stays warm in winter now, no issues.

C&R did a small crawl space job, 1-2 years ago, including new plastic on floor and closed cell on walls. There was some over spray visible in old vents seen from outside and all over plastic floor inside. Seal around perimeter is not perfect as plastic liner was not installed far enough up brick to form permanent seal. The seal around the entrance failed due to tape not adhering to brick and over spray. The plastic was not best quality and where folds exist from shipping it has cracked ruining the vapor barrier effect. They left property outside of crawl space clean and tidy where prompt and friendly. However, they could use higher quality products and be a bit more fastidious.

The team was very professional and did a great job. Our house is very well insulated and we have really noticed a difference.

One of the best contractor experiences I can recall was with C&R. As an architect, I highly recommend my clients use foam insulation, at a minimum in their attic to prevent the chimney effect of air being pulled through their walls and out their roof. In a new home or remodeling, seal all wall cavities and roofs with a thin layer, called flash and batt. Your house will be super airtight.

Love my insulation. Best money we've ever spent. They did blown in in my first house and when we renovated our second house we have them do sprayed in. My new house is very comfortable and our heating bills are lower. C&R spayed my attic, our walls and our crawl space. If we ever do another house I'll be calling!

I did have to call them back to correct an issue but had no issues with getting them back the next day early to match my schedule. Will use them the next time.

Had C&R come to my house about three weeks ago to give me an estimate on spray foaming my basement and crawlspace. They came and took measurements but have yet to even give me an estimate. Everytime I attempt to call there is no answer and the voicemail box is full. All other companies that have come to give an estimate take 5-10 minutes in their truck to write up estimate.

I called to get started on an insulation project for an existing room. While C&R couldn't help me with an existing drywalled space, they were beyond helpful in offering information and resources to help me move forward. Chris and his crew provided a great product at a very reasonable price. I wanted spray foam insulation in my remodeled basement. I investigated DIY spray foam kits but for literally the same amount of money they did the work and I know that their product and installation was superior to the DIY option.
