Chimney cap was repaired due to water leaking in. After a really good rain 2/4/2021, we had no further problems. Thanks for a his well done.

I gave Dustin a call to inspect my roof. We discussed a time to come out, he was on time. I told him i didnt have the money for a new roof at the time. So he fixed the bad spot i had. Very honest and reasonable on the price of the repair.

I received a recommendation for Dustin Mills Renovations through Angie's List, and requested an estimate for some siding repair work I need completed. The owner called me almost immediately and set up an appointment for a few days later advising that was when he was available. The day and time window arrived and passed and he was a no call/no show. Not what I would expect from a professional business owner. So we will be looking elsewhere for estimates.

Dustin and his crew did a beautiful job for me! New roof, siding and soffit. Extremely happy with the results! He'll be the first one I'll call in the future for any work I need done!

Dustin, William, and his team did an excellent job on our project. For 2 years, we struggled to get anyone out here to even provide a quote. Dustin showed up in a timely manner, provided us a quote, and put us on the schedule in no time.

Dustin and the team ran into multiple challenges when replacing our cedar siding with cement board. These challenges had nothing to do with their capabilities, but were a result of the weather, and the placement of our house. Dustin and team persevered and kept control of the project and timeline.

Their level of detail is impeccable. We were extremely impressed with the overall results of the siding. The caulking and painting are flawless.

We will hire Dustin and his team in a heartbeat just for the sheer fact that they showed up and did an amazing job. However, what truly sets Dustin apart from the others is his level of customer service! He constantly communicated to us even during the challenges, always answered our questions, and addressed all our concerns. Towards the end of the project, a small tree was slightly damaged by accident. He went out and found an identical tree, brought his young son and his friend, and planted this tree on their own time.
Not only does he exude character and strong values, he leveraged this opportunity to teach his son and set the ultimate example.

What should have been a 3 day job took over a week (no reason). Dumpster broke off hunks of asphalt in my driveway. Broke a couple of pavers, not sure how. Roofing job itself was so-so. Dustin blamed the waviness in the shingles in places on the rafters. A more experienced roofer would have at least taken the decking up to see if it could have been fixed. Was asked (and agreed) not to mess with chimney flashing as it had been replaced and everything sealed due to a bad leak several months prior. (We had had no further leaks after the chimney was sealed.) I was assured by Dustin the flashing had not been bothered even though I noted he for some reason had painted it. The first rain after the new roof was on and the same area around the chimney leaked like a sieve into our family room. It cost us several hundred dollars to have the chimney guys come out and replace the flashing and reseal everything again and tell me what I already knew... the roofers DID mess it up. I was assured that they would clean up well afterward, to date I have a 12 oz cup full of nails, and scrap pieces of metal from the gutters I've picked up. The gutters are very nice but there are large gaps in some areas where the shingles stop and the gutter starts. I was able to fix this myself so it looks less conspicuous by painting some L shaped metal the same color as the gutters and fitting it in the areas. The gutter guys that Dustin uses did come out and try to adjust the pitch on the gutters but it made no difference in the gap and now allows for some minor pooling in the gutters. Again, this was blamed on 'the house'. A small barn was also shingled. The roof on the barn had some angles so Dustin trimmed the edges of the shingle to be even with the angles then nailed down the next shingle leaving the nails showing. He put globs of roofing cement over the nail heads and said that was the only way to roof the barn. I disagreed with him and told him to look around... there were 2 or 3 barns within eye site and none had gobs of roofing cement showing. I have a clothesline with 4 lines, they snapped one of the lines, broke a shrub most of the way off, completely omitted 2 side by side gutter brackets so the gutter overflowed with the first rain. (Nor a big deal for me to fix but on top of all the other stuff was quite annoying.) Had to add another bracket to the gutter in front as well due to what seems to be a weak spot in the metal, it gets a crease in it when it rains. Dustin did come out when I told him about all these things and assured me he'd make everything right. He gave me a time he'd come out and I've not seen him nor will he answer my messages. I do like the color of the roof very much and how the gutters co-ordinate with it.
Dustin seemed to be a very nice young man and I do think his intentions were good. Maybe with more experience he will improve, I don't know.
