Blue wave did some work for us and it’s taking me almost a year to emotionally detach to be able to write this review.
I wouldn’t trust all of the five star reviews on here to be authentic from actual customers.
What you get from Russell is good sounding promises without delivery. Things will get stringed along until you realize nothing is gonna get done in time and the work is questionable.
Restoration one clean up our toilet leak in a week. The same day they started, I contacted Russell. This was June 7th. A two week estimate was given to me for the completion of bathroom remodel but ended up a month later with little to show for and $5000 later. Lots of details are left out but here’s the brief timeline that went way longer than we expected.
Jun 7. said the bid will be completed and sent out to insurance 'tomorrow.
Jun 8th, 10, and 12: We talked on all of these days.
June 12 I checked in. The bid still not sent out.
June 15 bid were finally sent out.
June 16 I inquired when the project can get started, you said in a couple of weeks.
-This is a different agreement than what we spoke about on Jun 7th.
Jun 22, insurance approved. Bathtub with bought by me. He told me the plumber was coming out the next day
Jun 24-29 Russell and his team plus the plumber did not complete setting the tub correctly.
We had a baby in the meantime.
June 29, canceled project. I asked for itemized receipt and ended up not refunding us for the little work that was done.
We had another plumber come and assess.
-tub was not leveled
-drywall was cut improperly and did not allow adequate room for the tub to be set.
-no mortar was placed underneath the tub so there was a lot of give when stepping in the tub.
-pee trap was not done as previously noted.
-Valves previously said that it was replaced was done with improper material with plastic valves.
-tub was cracked with a screw hole when previous plumber setted it.

I did a full remodel on my house. And when I say full... I mean FULL. I added 900 square feet to my 952 square foot almost 100 year old house while gutting the current part of it, basically to the studs minus one wall which included ripping the roof off and starting over. Bluewave worked with me and was supportive of me the ENTIRE way. And let me tell you, there were many ups and downs (not their fault, dealing with an old home is not easy).
I have to tell you, from the very beginning when I received the estimate it was more professional than the rest. Then from there, working with the Bluewave employees, they are the best in the business. From the master framer (Will) and his brother Gene who oversaw the project to all of the younger guys on the project they were as good as they come. My kids absolutely loved coming and seeing the guys on the project. They took care of this house and care for it like it was their own.
I truly appreciate the entire Bluewave team and will be constantly referring them out in the future!

They screwed up my floors multiple times and never owned up to it. Wood floors curled instantly after installed the second time and sank into the floor the first time because it was very uneven under the flooring.
Terrible company. The person in charge (Robert) lies and even with a bad review from the floor inspector he still says it’s because of where my condo was located and was not his fault.

The average roof replacement cost for a residential home typically ranges from $7,000 to $15,000, depending on factors such as roof size, chosen materials, roof pitch, and labor rates in your area. Premium materials or complex designs may increase the price.
The cost to replace the roof of a commercial building typically ranges from $5 to $12 per square foot, depending on several factors such as roof size, material, labor rates, building type, and local code requirements.
Several factors influence roof repair cost, including the extent of the damage, roof accessibility, material type, labor costs, and whether it’s a general repair or an emergency fix. Minor repairs can start around $150–$400, while major repairs may exceed $1,500.
Roof leak repair cost generally ranges from $300 to $800, depending on the size and location of the leak, the materials required, and labor intensity. Complex leaks involving structural repairs or interior damage will cost more.
Flat roof repair cost for commercial properties usually ranges from $500 to $3,000, depending on the roofing material (TPO, EPDM, PVC), the extent of the damage, and roof accessibility.
Mobile home roof replacement cost typically ranges from $3,000 to $8,000, making it generally more affordable than traditional home roof replacements, due to smaller size and simpler structure.
It's not necessary to stay home during roof replacement. Roofing work is noisy and can cause vibrations inside the house, which might be uncomfortable. Most homeowners choose to leave during major parts of the project, but our team ensures safety and keeps you updated, whether you're home or not.
The timeline for a roof replacement typically ranges from one to three days, depending on the size and complexity of the roof, weather conditions, and material type. Larger or more intricate roofs may take a bit longer, but we always aim for efficient, timely completion.
To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.
Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.
When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.
Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
