Josh was amazingly helpful from start to finish with the hassle of my insurance claim. His knowledge and expertise was pivotal throughout the whole process. Because of his diligence and detailed images/notes my insurance claim went from patchwork to a whole new roof. His flexibility and planning were also key qualities that made this experience sooooo stress-free. The roof was completed in one day and when they left the only evidence that remained was my spectacular roof!

I had a roofing emergency when my Dish blew off and ripped up my shingles and osb layer. Called Josh and he was able to get a guy out first thing next morning to take care of it. Repair was completed quickly, all mess cleaned up, and at a reasonable cost. Very satisfied.

Recently had a tree fall on my house. Josh was here early Sunday morning, covered the hole, submitted pictures and estimate to insurance company, made final repairs, dealt with insurance company resulting in a satisfactory resolution. After Hurricane Helene I noticed two water spots in my garage ceiling my husband checked the attic and found water that came through an area on the roof, I researched roofers near our home contacted three and Josh with JD Roofing contacted me back within 30 minutes. During the inspection the roof appeared in good condition ( the roof is only nine years young ) however I was advised that home owners should have "roof tuneups" every six years to make sure boots and shingles are all working properly. So I hired Josh, to handle our tuneup upon replacing one of the boots we had wood damage that caused the moisture in the attic area the wood was carefully replaced and new shingles installed at first the shingles did not totally match but Josh said I will find you the perfect match and reinstall my point Josh wanted the work to be perfect you cannot go wrong with Josh and his team! Bishop JD Roofing is an outstanding roof replacement company that also provides superb interior repair and painting work. They were excellent in removing our existing damaged roofing and replacing it with superior architectural shingles. They also completely replaced and upgraded all gutters and downspouts adding gutter guards. Josh Bishop (J. D.) is very polite, prompt and friendly. I had questions about some of the more recent roof materials which he answered with professionalism and expert insights for the future. He came by to show us his Timberline collection and we both selected the same shingle color/architectural type. At this time Timberline shingles can be harder to find than cheaper brands. Other roofer quotes indicated they could not get them locally or charged more. However, Josh literally went “the extra mile” to get the best shingle for the job.

The J. D. Bishop Roofing team was professional, swift, and safe - tying themselves with secure ropes and using the safest rooftop entry and exit points. They removed and hauled away the old roof and felt; they cleaned out our gutters, made sure our new roof used the latest tech “felt” and was secure and up to code with new flashing.

Josh’s crew went over our yard multiple times to remove yard debris and get as many roofing nails as they could out of our grass, shrubbery and driveway. Later we found only three nails near the landscaped wall, but unlike other roofing companies we used in the past, we did NOT experience ANY flats or punctures of any kind. (THANK YOU JOSH!)

The following day Bishop even came back to make sure all the nails/screws were removed by the crew. That made me feel great because I have a small dog. I can’t say enough good things about Bishop JD Roofing. I had an older home, and the roof was worn. Whether it was for repairs, or when I finally pulled the trigger on a full replacement, Josh was always super responsive. He was usually at my house and had repairs done within a day or two. I ended up replacing the roof once it was on the market for sale, and the buyer decided to change the shingle color after we had already had another color shingle delivered to the house.
