We have two aging AC units on our house. One had an issue last year and the other just recently. Both times Big H & A was highly responsive and able to fix the issues quickly. Our service technician, Art, was professional, fast, and friendly. Great experience!

All we needed was to do a routine maintenance and clean of our washer that we just didn’t have time to do. Instead we were told we needed to replace the door boot entirely and when we said the washer was less than five years old so that seemed premature, they said that it was just what they had to do for the cleaning. For $500!? Needless to say, we went on YouTube, did it ourselves and moved on, but I would be wary of being overcharged here. Try YouTube before

From the fast responses, to accommodating coming back a second day when I needed to have my roof unlocked to access the outside unit, to the knowledgeable technicians, my issue was fixed quickly, with care, and at a reasonable price. We had an issue with our refrigerator and had someone come out to only let us know it was basically going to cost the same price of the fridge itself. So I wanted to get another opinion and that’s when I found H&A. They had someone come out quickly, and diagnose the problem for a quarter of the price. The tech was very knowledgeable and professional!! They kept us posted on progress and repaired the issue quickly. We were very impressed with service. Highly recommended!!

We've used this company multiple times over the past year for washer, dryer, dishwasher and garbage disposal. They are very quick to respond (even on holidays!) and are good at communicating regarding scheduling. Everyone we've worked with has been friendly and very professional. We have no complaints and are happy working with them and will continue to do so for future repairs and maintenance.

Stan and the Big H & A team were very professional and helpful from scheduling to diagnosis to repair. We had several appliances break within a matter of weeks from each other and they were able to help us out and give us an honest diagnosis and opinion quickly for each issue. We would work with them again if needed.

Prompt and communicative leading up to the appointment. The technician was polite and kept the work area tidy. He diagnosed the issue with my Samsung dishwasher and got it up and running. Would recommend.

I worked with them to get my dryer repaired. Unfortunately the required parts were unavailable, but they got it running for 'air dry' mode. I have been able to use my dryer at least temporarily until the replacement arrives. Like most places, there is a charge for the initial visit & diagnosis which is credited towards the repair. Their prices were reasonable and they responded rather quickly to my questions through text.

Let me start by saying the experience with BIG H&A was seamless from start to finish. Tech arrived right on time and was pleasant as well as engaging. He described what he believed the issues might be based on our conversation and confirmed them once he took the the back and top covers off my Bosch Nexxt 700 series washing machine. This machine was a workhorse that never gave me any issues in 12+ years of service. Bosch does not support these bigger size units any longer so parts (if they can be located) would be pricey and the labor would be extensive. I sort of was prepared for this outcome considering the problem-free years I enjoyed. No reasonable fix unfortunately so I appreciate the techs honesty in recommending a replacement. I will def keep their number handy for any future projects.

I had the best technician. His name was Alex. I showed him the freezer from my refrigerator and explained what was going on. When he opened the freezer door and flashed his flashlight, he could see what the problem was that fast. In my head, I'm thinking I'll have to get a new refrigerator. My freezer problem was solved and I didn't have to get a new refrigerator. Would I use Big H & A again, yes.

They're fast to respond, show up when they say they will, and they fixed my oven. Alex the technician was great. Will definitely use again.

Stan came on a Saturday night to fix our oven. He was in and out in less than 30 minutes and had our oven working great!

Stan fixed our dryer with great care and efficiency! He assessed what parts were needed on Thursday and, after ordering and receiving said parts, completed the job on Saturday. Highly recommended Big H & A!

I love that they only charge $60 for a service fee and a thorough assessment. I sent them to my tenant’s house and received a written estimate that afternoon by email to repair/rebuild my stove. If I had chosen to do the repair, that $60 would have been applied to the charge. In my case it needed a new control board and was already 7 years old so I passed. Their estimate was almost 900 for everything (minus $60) and that seemed like a pretty typical price for socal. This was my first time calling them but so far their strengths are communication, and transparency in pricing. I called another highly sought out repair man, first, who said he couldn't take the job because he would need help to pull out the wall oven and he didn't have that help. But this company has specialized equipment to pull a wall oven with one person, so that was a plus in my opinnion.

Big H&A came out quickly to service 2 AC units,
a Refrigerator and s 35 year old Maytag dryer.
Could not fix the refrigerator but repaired everything else! All appliances working great.

2025 Update: My HVAC was no longer repairable. Art and team quickly secured a new unit that is 2025 compliant (R-32) before tariffs hit. Art and his partner installed it in one day. Everything was handled to precision - including arranging a crane. We also worked out a continuing maintenance plan to keep the unit in good shape. Thank you again Art and Big H&A!!
