Friendly, likeable, hard working, professional service. Saul showed up when he said he would. Got the deck job done quickly, power washed, stripped and stain a large deck in days. Fast, reliable service! Very pleased with the outcome .

DO NOT CALL SOL! Called Sol to come out and sweep our chimney. He came out and did the job but he ended up knocking off our chimney cap. He said he'd have to come back because he didn't have a long enough ladder to reach the top. He came back a few days later and put the cap on WITH MY ASSISTANCE! Well a few days later the cap blew off because he didn't tighten it down correctly. I called him and asked him to come back and was told in a month call me!! Terrible business practices right there! A month went by and I called him to resolve the issue because the rain is coming down my chimney and into our wood stove and I need it fixed. He said "call another chimney service, I didn't want to do the job in the first place." He sure was glad to take my money though. He is refusing to fix HIS mistake and leaving us hanging. We are going to take him to court and file a mechanics lein against him and his business until he makes it right. If this review is still up it means he didn't fix the issue. In the end he didn't do what he said he'd do, replace the cap like he promised. Response: no one never threatened him. I just layed out the facts and his feelings got hurt. By him offering to refund my money means he's guilty. We just simply wanted him to fix what he broke and he refused. Bad business practices.

Contacted him to help a neighbor with her flue. It was stopped up and cold weather was due in a few days. He was very polite and professional. He answered the call on the first ring. Promptly worked my neighbor into his schedule. Communication was excellent. Neighbor will call him again this fall to help her out. Will definitely keep his number on file for future use.

I hired this company to clean my grandmother's chimney and Sol was SO kind and professional! He also ended up cleaning her gutter and helping with other maintenance things as well! I would definitely recommend him to anyone in the Floyd and surrounding areas for any kind of handyman needs.

We had Sol repair our brick front porch with mortar repair and to replace some shingles that had blown off our roof. He did an outstanding job and we are so pleased with his work! He was on time, courteous, professional and did great work! We will be calling on him for our future needs.

Service questions
1. Should I stay home during roof replacement?

It's not necessary to stay home during roof replacement. Roofing work is noisy and can cause vibrations inside the house, which might be uncomfortable. Most homeowners choose to leave during major parts of the project, but our team ensures safety and keeps you updated, whether you're home or not.

2. How long does roof replacement take?
+-

The timeline for a roof replacement typically ranges from one to three days, depending on the size and complexity of the roof, weather conditions, and material type. Larger or more intricate roofs may take a bit longer, but we always aim for efficient, timely completion.

3. How to hire a roofing contractor?
+-

To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.

4. How to check if a roofing company is legit?
+-

Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.

5. How to choose a roofing company?
+-

When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.

6. How do you know if your roofing contractor is ripping you off?
+-

Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
