The. Barrett team did a great job replacing our roof. the team worked well together from removal, replacement and clean up; even brought our mail to the door in the middle of the job. We also added a power roof vent and provided its exact location that helped us provide a new power receptacle.

We contacted Barrett roofing after a neighbor advised us that the builder installed roofing material may be defective. Chris Ziskovsky, their sales estimator, promptly responded, checked our roof, determined we indeed had defective material and began the process to apply to the roofing materials company on a warranty claim. Denise Conrad at the office handled everything necessary to apply for the warranty claim. Throughout the whole process Chris and Denise made it simple. When our claim was approved, the Barrett work crew arrived, removed and replaced our roof in one day. Very friendly and neat workers. To make a long story short….we strongly recommend Barrett roofing if you should find yourself in need of a roof repair and/or replacement

The new roof looks great. Chris handled the initial inspection, let us know what to expect going forward. The office communications were handled professionally and the install crew did a great job including protecting our home and clean up at the end. Barrett has our highest recommendation.

When Mike Barrett came out to do an estimate 2 years ago, he replaced several missing shingles free of charge. That really left an impression. They recently replaced my roof. Some siding was deteriorating, and they patched it beautifully with some PVC trim. Again, at no additional charge. I ask a lot of questions, and Chris and Mike were always patient with me and thorough with their answers. I’m very appreciative of a company with such integrity and professionalism.

We had a manufacturers warranty issue with our shingles. Barrett Roofing came and did the inspection, filed all the paperwork and took care of everything. When they came to replace the roof, the crew was quick and extremely professional. They cleaned up every bit of the mess and even went behind the bushes to get everything picked up. They are a great company to work with.

Chris was awesome to work with! We had him out a couple years ago to do a roof assessment. He told us then that he saw some wear and tear, but that if it were his roof, he wouldn't do anything just yet. I decided then and there that when it came time to replace my roof, I would call Barrett Roofing. Anytime you come across a company that isn't all about the sale, that speaks volumes to me. So when I needed to replace my roof, I called Barrett Roofing, Chris came back out, and we got the process started. They even worked with my insurance company and everything went about as smoothly as it possibly could.

We needed a roof and had no idea who to trust. A friend recommended Barrett. They gave us a date soon after requesting the work, showed up on time with a large crew. They finished in a day, including a thorough cleanup. No damage to gutters or siding. Great people.

We have called them several times in the last 6 Months and the lady that answers the phone keeps blowing us off. We have purchased their roof and labor in 2009!! They have refused to honor the 25 year warranty!! It’s been 15 years and Our roof leaks!! WHY HAVEN’T YOU CALLED US BACK??? ????? We have all our paper work and warranty info as you can see in our pictures. 6 MONTHS AND NO CALL BACK?? We gave you 2 phone numbers.

I called Barrett Roofing after the owners comment. They checked the file and saw it was a valid claim. They expedited someone out here in a few days to do minor repairs. Which will help for now. The leak damage inside still exists. Plus they will do a follow up in a week because all the nails on the roof were popped up! They siliconed the nail’s down! (Temporary fix.)When they follow up and come up with a plan to see what’s the next steps will be. Once this is completed. I will change my review since we had a communication issue for the last 6 months.
Looking forward to my home being a comfortable and cozy place again.
AFTER REPAIRS OUR ROOF IS STILL LEAKING. WE HAVE EXTENSIVE DAMAGE ON THE INSIDE. WE REALLY NEED OUR ROOF FIXED PROPERLY. PLEASE SEE THE PICS AND VIDEOS!! We still haven’t heard back when they did the temp repair.

Had 2 issues which were handled very quickly. Chris responded and the problems were handled within 24 hours to my complete satisfaction. Would definitely recommend this company.

I called because I wanted my roof checked out. Chris showed up. He not only was very personable, but extremely knowledgeable and respectful. He said that my roof was still in great shape and that it didn’t need replacement. He noticed that a few shingles need to be tacked down so he did that and cleaned out my gutters. The charge was nominal which I greatly appreciated. I’m a Realtor and had heard good things about Barrett from a client who was remodeling his home after the 2010 flood. Of 5 or 6 companies that came out to give him an estimate, Barrett was the ONLY one who said the roof was in good shape. All of the other companies said the entire roof needed replacement. They are still the same great company after all these years. I will definitely recommend Barrett Roofing to any of my clients who have roofing needs. It’s refreshing to be respected and not lied to by a company these days. Seems like a lot of companies are just out to scam people.

Unfortunately they talked a big game and had absolutely no follow-up. Chris came out, inspected my roof, spent over an hour talking and going over things then for the next 5 weeks did nothing. Never contacted my agent, responded days later to texts and ultimately wasted 5 weeks of my time not even getting the process started. Mike Barrett with Barrett Company is exceptional. Like many others in my neighborhood, I had to have a new roof as a result of hail damage.
My neighbor, who also had hail damage, recommended Mike. I took his recommendation and was glad that I did.
From the time I met Mike until the roof was completed, the process was very timely and professionally done. Since I had insurance, Mike said he did not want any payment until the job was totally completed and accepted.
Bottom line - if you are looking for professionalism, timeliness and quality, you need to connect Mike Barrett with Barrett Company.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE...let me start off by saying I wouldn't recommend this company to my worse enemy....1st they showed up without us signing a contract and without us picking out shingles.....we reached out to them in March (it is now July)...they show up and start taking off our current roof again without us signing and agreeing to a contract and without an estimate provided...they contracted the work out to another company in which we couldn't communicate with due to not much English spoken by the company...called the owner and he simply said it was a "misunderstanding"...made them stop immediately and patch it up because rain was in the forecast the next few days.. it rained and our house leaked terribly..the owner was "out of town" and his fill in was little help.....RUN if this company shows up and not to mention they clogged our gutters and broke bricks off out house....BEWARE...if I could give them a negative number I would

We noticed water damage inside our master bedroom from a torrential rainstorm. Our insurance company sent us a check for repair on the roof flashing and drywall damage inside. Mike Barrett came out and inspected the roof and the damage inside. He could not find anything wrong with the flashing. Upon further inspection, he found holes in the mortar of our brick. Mike repaired those holes and told us that our roof did not need to be replaced for a few more years. When it does need to be replaced, we will definitely call Barrett Roofing.

On-time service with quick & accurate assessment of roof leak - along with confirming a second repair that was needed. Able to complete repairs during same visit at great price. Very knowledgeable with "expected" issues with builders of new homes in area - especially once outside warranty. Lastly, provided plenty of photos before/after repairs for documentation.

This company is my choice for my home's roofing due to the professionalism, knowledge and helpfulness of their inspector and crew. My experience was great. From my first call to the visit from Chris, they kept me well-informed. He gathered a lot of information from me, then did a thorough inspection from the attic and on the roof with lots of pictures and explanations. He explained my short-term fix and longer-term options, and a reasonable estimate on how well fixes could perform. He took time to explain why my roof was showing wear because of where heat was building up. Everything was very upfront and honest, no scare tactics or pressure straight to a replacement. Super-professional and would use them again for sure!

Mike and his team are top notch and helped us tremendously with 2 roofs. The company went above and beyond for 6 months trying to work with my insurance company who unfortunately was demanding of additional inspections and attempts that repair which had already been documented would not work. Barrett roofing stay the course.

Very unresponsive to calls and texts. Even if you call the main office, they’ll tell you they will call you back and never do. Took 3 months to get someone out to “repair” a leak in our roof. Only they showed up and left without ever talking to anyone or checking to ensure it was actually fixed. It wasn’t. If anything the leak is worse than before. Definitely do not trust them with your roof repair.

let me start by saying they did MORE than any other company did. in this day and age a company that would put a temporary repair until they could make the repair is remarkable. thats the end of this company being a company that ANYONE should EVER use. to think that a REAL company that repairs something would leave a home looking like the attached photos is disturbing. to make matters worse the salesman was contacted and informed me that the company would surely be there the following day to clean up what should have NEVER been left. so much for QUALITY. not with Barrett! ANY other roofing company is your best bet!

Update: So they came out the next day to clean up what they left? Really! was told the workers even picked up trash that was not theirs! who are they kidding? the last picture shows the debris (clearly BARRET ROOFING TRASH) left after the clean up that should have been done after the work was complete. i now reiterate ANY other company is your ONLY bet!!!

They did a great job and worked with my timing. The owner personally came to inspect the roof and talk with us. I think the communication once work began was a little less than I’d have liked. The didn’t give me updates on the progress during the work. They did get it all replaced in three days so that was awesome.

Great work. They got right on the job. Found damage as work progressed. They replaced rafters and decking and kept right on schedule. They completed the job and cleaned everything up in the yard as it was before they started. Very pleased with the work and the company

Called a bunch of roofing companies and these guys responded right away, came out to give estimate and within 2 weeks came and fixed our roof. They worked hard and did what they estimate stated. Even though it was a small job and not an entire roof, they didn't treat us any different! 5 stars!

Going through this company was a BIG mistake. We were not happy with several things after the work was completed. The rep we were dealing with said after the work was done he would come by to make sure we approved everything and then we would get a bill. No one ever came and we contacted them for weeks and weeks with either no response or someone saying they’d get back to us about our concerns. We realized we were getting no where so we contacted another roofing company to finish the job. Please beware of this company! They apparently do not appreciate your business and do not live up to their end of the bargain. Get everything on paper or you may end up having to go with two roofing companies like we did.

My roof was getting pretty bad - just old, not storm damaged - so I started shopping around for a roofing company. As anyone in the Nashville area can tell you, it's a bit tough lately to get responses from almost any company that does any sort of home improvement. Barrett was the 3rd roofing company I'd tried, the others never returned my initial contact request or ghosted us at some point in the process.

I had some chimney work done and the guys from Ashbusters recommended I call Barrett Roofing Company. I did, and I had a great experience. The estimate, quote, insurance, and installation were a breeze. It was always easy to contact someone, and they were super informative about every step of the process. Once we agreed to the quote and picked out colors, we got put on the install schedule for the following week.

I'd love to say they were the cheapest, but I honestly couldn't tell you because I never got that far along in the process with the companies I tried before Barrett, so I have no other companies for comparison. I will tell you that the cost was what I was expecting, and I never felt like I was being upsold or taken advantage of.

We had Barrett Roofing replace our roof as we are selling our home and the old one was at the end of its life. The day the roofers came, we no longer lived in the property. They were able to replace the roof in only a day and, in the days that followed, the storms from a passing hurricane hit the Nashville area.

A few days later, our agent checked on the property and noticed a water stain on the dry wall in our guest bathroom. We called Barrett Roofing since 1) it had just rained, 2) it was clearly coming from the attic, and 3) no one else had been on the property and inspections were already completed at which time no one noted a leak or discolored dry wall.

Barrett took weeks to finally have someone out to do a water test which we can’t confirm even happened since we weren’t present on the property at the time. They concluded that it was pre-existing and not coming from the new roof.

The best part is that when they went to first look at the leak days after the roof was installed, they sent us photos of actively wet surfaces in the attic, which, had there been a pre-existing problem, would have been caught on the many inspections (including the one by the insurance company).

In conclusion, they refused to take responsibility for it and couldn’t find any cause for it so therefore it has now fallen us to repair their mistake.

We would highly recommend going with a company who works with more integrity and isn’t just in it to slap a roof on and call it a day.

Barrett Company installed the roof on my personal home as well as roofs for many of my clients. They are honest and dependable and highly experienced in the industry.

They were so great! All the neighbors have told me how great the new roof looks. They were on time and professional and very kind. Everyone from the guy who came to give us the quote to the guys who came to install the roof. I would recommend them highly to anyone who asks!

We were told by a different roofing company that we had hail damage. Our insurance agent suggested that we contact Barrett Roofing for a second opinion because he really trusted them. We worked with Chris at Barrett Roofing and he was fabulous to work with. He was professional, knowledgeable, and he went above and beyond to make sure he was at our house when the insurance adjustor arrived.

He explained in detail what was going on with our roof and assured us that we did not have hail damage. It was clear that he was honest and his knowledge was extensive. The insurance adjustor called us the next day and said that he was so impressed with Chris and that if we ever did need a new roof, to make sure to use him for the job because he knew what he was talking about.

Overall, the experience of working with Barrett Roofing was great and I would recommend the company to anyone needing help with their roof.

I called them out to take a look at some roofing concerns I had and they helped without scaring me into a roof replacement. I think it shows a lot of honesty and integrity that they gave me an inexpensive option as opposed to scaring me into replacing a perfectly good roof. Most roofers would have told me to replace. Over 5 years later and I’m still good!

I can tell you a lot of unpleasant experiences since we got a totally new roof with the Barrett company. My pictures are more loud than words. 1. How the repair looks on the attic ceiling after one of their repairs. 2. How our ceiling looks from a different leak.

Barrett Roofing has been very professional and polite everytime we had them out. They were able to get out to our house very quickly after we called them. This is a great company if you are needing roof repair done.

Mike came out himself to take care of replacing some rubber boots on our roof vents. He was honest, caring and professional. What more can you ask for? He will be my first call when we do need roof replacement! Top notch.

Barrett put a new roof on our house the summer of 2009, during mid 2019 the roof developed a leak around the large vent stack between the 2 bathrooms wall. I tried fixing it myself could never get it completely fixed. I called Barrett Roofing and explained the problem to them, Mike Barrett came out and put a new rubber boot over the pipe and said that should fix it, if it don't then call back. It did not fix it so I called back and Chris came out and looked at the area, he decided the water was coming in around some old nail holes. He caulked the old nail holes and used new nails in different places to fasten down the boot flashing around the pipe and caulked over those new nails. After 2 hard rains, no leak, and also no charge for either visit to our home. Thank you for all your help.

Mike and his team did a tremendous job on my childhood home. You never want to hear you need a new roof in the midst of major renovations, but Barrett Roofing took stress out of the equation, handling everything with a detailed one-on-one as well as written report of my particular needs, a competitive price, and amazing craftsmanship. Even my contractors were very impressed with Mike's expertise and the quality of the work that was completed. The roof looks amazing, and what initially felt like a huge setback, has only added the finishing touch to my remodel! I even referred them to an elderly friend of mine who was told by a door-to-door company that she needed a new roof. had some concerns with a roof Barrett had replaced on a home I recently purchased. Chris came to the house and cleared up my concerns and fixed a minor problem the same day I called! Impressive! Even helped me to register as new owners so I will have the roofing materials guarantee :)

Having repairs made to roof they installed incorrectly. High nailed (nailed in improper place on shingle) and only put 4 nails per shingle which voids shingle warranty (five required, six preferred). Have large sections of shingles detaching and sliding off. Had called them to get repairs made, but still no response in over a week. Going to use another roofer I trust.

I purchased a house they did some work on just before I bought it, Called and ask about warranty on their work, they said they would send someone out to look at the issue, issue is there is still a leak in the chimney that they did repairs to, when the person came out to look at it they said it was a different part of the chimney than they worked on (really) and they would meet me at the house to show me the issue (which they took pictures of and I could see what looks like the issue), the person said they would contact me in a bit , it has been over a week and no contact from them. Think twice before using them and make sure they have and will back the warranty, no such luck here with that.

Great work and great value! Showed up on time and got it all done in one day. Roof looks great and my turbines work much better than the old vents ever did.
