My new roof looks great! They did it in a timely manner and cleaned everything up so good!! They also explained everything that would be done to my roof! They knew I needed a new roof right away so they were able to help me quickly! They are a very courteous and professional company!

We are getting ready to sell our home and wanted to have the roof checked out. Jason was so sweet and very honest and told us it wasn't necessary. That's extremely hard to find these days and we appreciated it so much! Near the end of 2024 my family suffered and unimaginable loss. With this came us having to move from our home immediately. Our home was ready for a new family, but the roof wasn't. TLDR:
Unprofessionalism, inappropriate texting, high bid with no explanation/itemization, spent less than 10 minutes looking at the roof = terrible experience!!

I was extremely disappointed in this experience. I had practically decided this was the company I would use because of all the great reviews. Instead Jason, who is new and told me that several times, spent less than 10 minutes looking at my roof. Other companies were here MUCH longer. Furthermore, he was inappropriate with me via text and gave me a bill significantly higher than any of the other 6 quotes I received with NO ITEMIZATION!! This felt like he was trying to scam me. Not sure if it's because I'm a single woman (he made numerous comments in bad taste about his wife) or because he thought my house was nice, which he also mentioned multiple times but either way, if you bid extremely high you MUST itemize. Clearly Jason is the outlier here since there are so many other positive reviews about others at this company. It's very unfortunate though because I had very high hopes for this company being fair priced, professional and a good experience.

I have nothing but good things and praise for this roofing company. Alen Kramer was an amazing help to us,very professional and knowledgeable about what we needed and helped us with insurance company for we were clueless to the whole process, but Alen and his crew were on time as promised they did an amazing job on the roof and the crew cleaned up all the debris and and had our roof replaced in one day. I can't thank them all enough for a job well done and I would definitely recommend this company for all your roofing needs.

Found Balmer via Google reviews. My insurance requested a inspection. Reached out to Balmer in early February for a free roof inspection. They did try to get me scheduled asap. Due to my own schedule I chose a time in March. Alex Kramer has GREAT communication. Showed me pictures explaining everything. Fixed a minor leak for no charge. Anytime I need roofing service I will contact this company. It's hard to fine a company that put the customer first.

A neighbor recommended Balmer who did work on their investment properties. We worked with Steve Browning who was fantastic to work with and also has good taste when it comes to roof and gutter replacement. I would recommend them to anyone looking for quality roof and gutter replacement.

I had a really nice experience working with Jon Balmer for my new roof and gutters. He spent time with me walking around the house pointing out areas he could put flashing and venting to help the house. Jon shared his product knowledge of shingles and gutters so I could make informed decisions. During the job, Jon and his crew were accommodating to my needs and last minute changes. The crew worked quickly and cleaned up afterwards. Now, all I need is, for it not to hail. :).

I needed an inspection report for my skylight and they got me scheduled for service with a couple days. Then Bruce kept in touch with me on his arrival time. When he arrived he was extremely professional and provided the inspection report I needed. His report was very thorough and detailed. We had hail damage on our roof and our insurance agent recommended Balmer Roofing. Alen Kramer came out and we were impressed how nice he is, he really knows his business. We set up the time for him to start replacing the roof and they came exactly when Alen said they would. Alen also worked with our insurance because in the quote they didn't include ice/water barrier and chimney flashing. When shopping for estimates Balmer was the only company to keep their appointments, they came back out to advocate for us with the insurance inspection, and put temporary patches on the roof (with no additional fee, unlike the other companies). Great company! I was worried I would have to file a claim for a roof replacement. Jon came out and assessed the situation and assured me that it was just a small repair that needed to be done. He got the repair done the same day and I’ve had no problems since then.

I worked with Desiree who offered easy proactive communication. I was able to get high-quality Malarkey Vista Class 4 shingle within the reimbursement cost provided by my insurance company after a hail storm. The job was done efficiently with the crew showing up at 6:30a the day of install. The finished product looks really nice and clean-up was above expectations. I found only 2 nails in the yard with magnetic sticks compared to the many thousands of nails and shingles that were pulled off the roof during replacement. It was a very high quality job and I'd use Balmer again.

I realized I needed a new roof on my house and guttering on my barn. I called Adam of Balmer roofing for a quote to have the work done. To my surprise Adam found hail damage that my insurance would cover saving me several thousand dollars. Little late review. Jon and his team did great work on my roof when they replaced it back in August. He was in consistent contact with me throughout the process, which I appreciated. I had a small hiccup that caused a slight delay in the process, but he was very accommodating and when I was ready to go about a week or 2 later, he made it happen. Will use him again for any future roofing.

I worked with Alen at Balmer on two different roofs over the last year. The first roof was on my 110 year old home after a hale storm. Alen was great interfacing with me and my insurance company to get my roof and gutters replaced. The second roof was on a rental property I purchased. Again, Alen helped with the disicion making process regarding what products to use in order for me to get the best insurance rate. I hope to continue growing out my rental portfolio over the next few years and will not hesitate to use Balmer Roofing on the next project.

After contacting them, thy came right out. Gave us a bid on Tuesday and had the materials roof dropped on Friday. Showed up by 6:30 am Monday and finished my job in one day. 2000sq ft home 480sq ft garage and 300sq ft shed. Very Professional though out the whole process.

I submitted to my insurance, the adjuster confirmed everything he had quoted. I got everything replaced in a timely fashion with a level 4 impact rated shingle at a much lower price than anywhere else I contacted. Don’t hesitate to give them a call with all your roofing needs.

Balmer Roofing replaced our roof a few years ago so when we had some minor damage from a thunderstorm in July, I called them again. They were very responsive and did a great job in communicating with us. It was very minimal damage but they still made us a priority. Overall it was a great experience! I’d recommend them any day!

Jon Balmer’s team is exceptionally skilled and hard working. When they replaced my Overland Park home’s roof, they under promised and over delivered on timing. I was impressed. Even my neighbors were coming to my door and asking who my roofer was.

If you have an insurance claim, this is the roofer you want to work with. After a tree went through my roof due to a wind storm, Jon’s team was there that same day to perform an emergency repair to get my by until my insurance company approved further work. Jon was present in every step of the insurance process to make sure I was well represented. This was valuable because I was a home owner that knew little about roofing.

Anyone in the industry could sell you a roof, but what about also offering excellent customer service? That’s rare and invaluable.

Overall good experience with this company. Jon was easy to work with and the crew did good work. They torn old wood shingles off the roof, repaired broken rafters, and put down new osb and shingles in one day. The new roof looks great. It's been 4 months and no issues with the roof so far.
