Joel is great! So incredibly happy. Where should I start. I stumbled upon ATH when I was researching fence companies in our area. I gave him a call and he told me he’d call me back at the beginning of the week to schedule a free quote. He ended up showing up to our house on a Sunday stating he lost our contact info and offered to do the quote right then and there. I’m so glad we answered our door. He went above and beyond every single step of the way. Joel was very transparent, thorough, and did more for us than he had to. His pricing was nearly HALF of what other companies quoted us. As you can tell in the pictures, Joel’s team installed a 6’ privacy fence in the front, with a double WOODEN gate for our driveway, that transitioned to a black chain link fence in the back. Our entire 2 acres for a price that would blow anyone away.

His team was extremely quick to install. They got the entire project done in a day and a half! Even my neighbors were amazed with how quick everything was completed.

I used them to have a fence built and finishing a room in my basement. They are very personable and professional. I am completely satisfied with the quality of their work. Joel and his team rebuilt our fence in 2020 when we first moved in after a bad storm knocked it down. Everyone was very prompt and professional and the fence still looks great and holding up! Recently, we had to remove our propane tank which meant we needed to take town a portion of the fence including the gate. We contacted Joel again and he got us on the schedule to rebuild the fence and gate area and it looks phenomenal! Had a fence put in by Joel and his crew could not be happier. We had 3 gates installed for ease of mowing and moving about our large property. Plus the 380 feet of fence. Everything was above my standard and it was completed in a super timely manner. They even took the time to level near the gates for the large swing of the 10 foot gates. We are so pleased with Joel at ATH we will be using him for our deck.

I had a skylight removed through Joel. The crew was kind and professional and did a great job. Joel went above and beyond and called the company that replaced our roof to make sure the exact shingles were being put on. He came out when the job was completed and made sure we were happy. We had an existing ~400 foot of 8 year old wooden4 rail fencing that was cracked, warped and brittle. Joel gave us recommendations regarding possible materials to use to get a better quality, longer lasting product. Looking at vinyl and other materials we decided to use oak and larger posts to complete the installation. Joel's crew removed the existing fence and wire in a very short time. The new fence and posts, with plastic coated wire was installed along with an 8 foot and a smaller walk through gate. The crew showed up promptly every morning and worked continuously throughout the day. In 2 days they not only had our fence completed but also our neighbor who requested the same fence. I would strongly recommend Joel and his crew to anyone who is considering a new or replacement fencing.

We decided to have a wood privacy fence installed and this would be our first big home improvement project. I posted on social media looking for recommendations because we were not sure where to turn. Joel reached out to me and offered to come give us a free estimate. I had lined up several estimates and met with Joel last. He showed up on time, was professional, and had a great sense of humor. He provided us with options and was able to give us the exact fence we wanted within our budget, the other companies just told us we could only afford the lower grade fence. We got the project scheduled and it went so smoothly. The crew that came out was so professional, respectful and hard working. They even went above and beyond to make sure they covered up any small gaps that were under the fence so there were zero issues with our dogs! Joel came out at the completion to make sure everything looked great and we were satisfied. My husband requested an additional gate handle just for his preference and Joel was happy to install that. I am immensely pleased with the stockade wood fence that ATH Builders installed. Joel Bacott’s employees were truly skilled carpenters! They cut and measured each and every board before attaching it to the framework. They worked steadily for almost 11 hours to finish the job. They were pleasant and very respectful and when they finished, their cleanup was to perfection. I highly recommend ATH Builders for precision fence installation. They did a 5 star job!

I had a preexisting vinyl rail fence on the property that was not fully enclosed. ATH finished the enclosure, matching the existing fence perfectly. They also added black wire to the new and old portions of the fence, so now my dogs can run freely in the enclosure. Before choosing ATH, I had several companies come out, and of the few that would actually work with vinyl, Joel was easily the most knowledgeable, and ATH’s pricing was very competitive. I had a custom 2 board and black wire fence built in my back yard (about an acre). It includes 3 8' cedar gates. Joel was professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and quick to respond from the start. After the fence was completed (in one day!), when I had some issues with the gate locking mechanisms, they were fixed at no charge. When the ice storm hit last January, trees knocked down a gate and 2 panels, which were fixed without marking up the material. The guys also cut the trees and moved them out of the way of the fence and gate for me.
When I wasn't satisfied with the quality of the new gate, Joel sent out a crew to completely redo that gate, at no charge to me. So, what I originally thought was on the sort of expensive end has turned out to be a great investment with excellent customer service for me. Thank you, Joel, and your crews!

After I moved into my home in Culpeper, I needed to have a fence put in my back yard. I wanted to match what was next door. ATH Builders came out gave me a fair price and did an excellent job! My fence has been up for almost two years now and I have not had a single problem, even through some straight line winds that snapped my peach tree. But the fence is holding strong and looks like new.
