My wife was worried that we may have the a mold issue in our house. We wanted a local company to assess the situation, so, we contacted Astrid Environmental Services. Ms. Witt, the president, did the inspection. She was very good about explaining her findings, what our situation was and how to address it ourselves. She did not take advantage of us like a lot of companies would have. We appreciate her honesty and subject matter knowledge. Furthermore, we highly recommend her company for any environmental concerns you may have.

She came over the next day, conducted a very thorough inspection, and provided a detailed plan to remediate the issue. I have an older home on Claytor lake, and I had a musty smell for years and I couldn’t figure it out. I called (3) companies, Astrid being one, and received quotes from each to perform a mold and fungus remediation and crawl space encapsulation. My crawlspace was a mess: mold, standing water and high humidity. When Mark from Astrid told me I would be able to store things there when they finished, I thought "uh huh, sales pitch." But he was right! The difference is incredible and has received the blessing of my contractor. Everyone I had contact with from the company was very professional, courteous and kept me informed of everything they were doing. They showed up when they said they would, answered all my questions, made suggestions and cleaned up after themselves. I highly recommend Astrid if you have water issues like I did.

Astrid Environmental Services is an excellent company. They conducted an extensive review of the project and provided a quick and economical quote. Our basement had an "extremely" bad animal urine smell, that I thought would be difficult, if not impossible to eliminate. Well the animal urine smell is gone. The communication by the Project Manager (Trina) throughout the process was excellent. I would highly recommend Astrid. Excellent company.

I recently contacted Astrid Environmental Services due to a mold problem in my home. They were able to come to my house the day after my phone call and were on time. Two days later I received an assessment of their findings. I was honestly blown away by the thoroughness of the inspection and the attention to detail that went into the written assessment which included the recommended scope of work required and its respective estimates. We are very lucky to have a company offering these services in our area and I will not hesitate to recommend Astrid and will definitely use them again in the future if needed.

The person that came was kind and very helpful. Did her due diligence in inspecting the area that needed mold removal. She tested various parts of the area and surrounding areas and determined due to distance away and how big the project would become that getting home insurance involved was our best bet. I appreciated her honesty and she did all this free of charge despite us being a bit out of the way for the company. 10/10 would highly recommend their services!

They both gave me solid info as to what work look like has been done on this house and after cleaning, the house actually smells better. And i mean smells better over time. The 3rd day after they finished the work our AC smells fresh.

I didnt know what to expect. I thought it was gonna be a 2 to 3 hour job. Turns out that they were there for 5 hr doing the work and explaining what they were doing.

The work crew came on time and never stopped working while they were here. They kept me informed when they came upon anything out of the ordinary that I needed to know about. I was shown pictures taken during the job that explained anything I had questions about. Good job and communication.

Astrid representative was prompt and performed the air quality assessment. The air samples were sent off to a lab and took over a week to be reported, but Astrid representative reported it as soon as she received it.

Astrids team jumped into action on a mold remediation project at a property I was selling and completed the work without delaying the closing. Immediately thereafter, another property I have became flooded and required extensive cleanup. Mark and his team jumped right on it to avoid any mold issues and did the reconstruction of the property.

Astrid did an amazing job removing mold in the basement of the house we purchased. They also cleaned the entire duct system. From Lyndsey’s initial inspection through the completion of the work, everything was conducted in a very professional manner and all of the crew members were polite, friendly, and very competent. My husband and I were both very impressed. While we hope to never have to deal with mold again, we will definitely seek Astrid’s services the next time we need our ductwork cleaned.
