Astoria roofing was a real pleasure to work with for my flat roof replacement. They came to my house with 15 guys to replace my roof in one day. I was so happy I hired them because watching them work was a sight to see and I enjoyed it very much. They did a great job and I haven’t had leaks since my new flat roof was installed last year.

We had our old shingle roof replaced last month, and I honestly didn’t expect the process to go as smoothly as it did. The crew was punctual, professional, and worked like a well-oiled machine. They took the time to explain the steps involved and answered all our questions without rushing us. What really impressed me was how clean they left the property each day no debris or leftover nails lying around. The new roof looks fantastic and feels much sturdier. It’s such a relief knowing we’re set for the next couple of decades.

Our home in Astoria has been in our (very big, very Greek) family for generations, so any kind of work on it comes with a lot of opinions — and a lot of love. But after Royal came out for the estimate and walked us through everything so clearly and respectfully, even my uncle (who thinks he knows more than the internet) gave them the nod. That’s when we knew we found the right crew. We also own a restaurant just a few blocks away, and when it’s time to take care of that roof, there’s no question — we’ll be calling Royal again. They’ve earned our trust, and in a neighborhood like Astoria, that means everything.

I was having a few leaks appear and start dripping on my top floor. I called a few companies to come out to inspect and let me know what I should do. Jordan from Astoria roofing found the leaks quickly and showed me pictures on where they are coming from and why it is happening. He gave me a few options on repairing the damaged areas and also for a full roof replacement. Because we had multiple leaks, it was a good idea to replace the roof. We just bought the house and wanted to make sure we protect it. During the project they updated me on each section and made sure to answer all my questions. I got a beautiful new roof and happy I hired Astoria Roofing.

We live in Astoria with our two little kids, and earlier this year, we discovered a dark patch on the ceiling in their bedroom. Turned out to be mold, and the culprit was a leaking flat roof that had clearly been ignored by the previous owners. Not ideal. We called Royal Roofing, and to their credit, they took the situation seriously. They showed up fast, inspected the whole roof, and told us (gently) that a full tear-off was the only real option. Not great news—but we appreciated the honesty. The job itself was no small thing. They stripped the whole thing down to the deck, replaced damaged plywood, added insulation, and rebuilt the roof with a new membrane. It took about three days start to finish. The crew was professional, careful around our property, and didn’t leave a mess, which I really appreciated with kids running around. What a crazy situation for us but appreciate how fast Royal reacted and helped. The two guys on the job, Eric and Mike, both have small kids so they definitely understood how quickly and safely the job needed to be done.

What started as a small water stain on the ceiling turned into a much bigger discovery—our flat roof in Astoria had seven old layers stacked on top of each other, all in terrible condition. We were honestly shocked. Thankfully, we found a team that knew exactly how to handle it. They carefully removed all the old layers and replaced the entire roof the right way. From start to finish, they were professional, thorough, and transparent. Can’t thank them enough for turning a stressful situation into a smooth experience!

I own a multifamily home in Astoria and we’ve had some issues on and off with the roof and gutters over the past few years. About a year and a half ago I hired a crew that came to repair a leak, it was fine for about three weeks and then came back. This “crew” disappeared. So I asked a buddy of mine for a rec and he had me call Royal. Eden came out, we went through everything, he was sympathetic to what happened to me with the other crew- and worked with me on everything. He explained about the warranty I would get from Royal and put it all in the contract, so I have it all on paper. Now I have a beautiful new roof- that I can now utilize- and brand new gutters. Not a leak or issue in sight 15 months later. Very satisfied and will recommend to all my neighbors.

There were holes in my shingle roof, leaks coming through and animals getting in. I had a contractor come in and patch it up, but within weeks, the holes came back and he was nowhere to be found. Royal came to see me, gave me a fair price and did the work within a week to make sure I was warm and dry going into the winter. Can’t thank them enough. Highly recommend this crew!
