Bert and Donna were amazing! They listened to our preferences and then presented us with a number of incredible alternatives. Bert even did a CAD drawing of the house with the alternatives so we could visualize the finished product. They are true professionals and an absolute pleasure to work with. Highly recommend! Testimonial for Arrow Timber Framing of Battle Ground, WA

I cannot recommend Arrow Timber Framing too highly! Bert Sarkkinen and his crew recently helped me build a cabin near Mt. Adams, WA

When I asked Bert to build the cabin, my main concern was acquiring the look and all of the design features in the cabin that I had been thinking about during the years I’d been planning it. I knew Arrow could get me exactly what I wanted, but when I was looking at the first two-dimensional blueprint there was no way to get a feel for what I was really getting. I was relying on Arrow Timber Framing to turn that blueprint into a 3-D model and create the cabin of my dreams.

Planning the cabin was an evolving process. Bert and I worked together quite some time. First, I sent pictures to him of truss designs and pictures of purlins that I liked. Then he would combine the ideas I sent to him in his 3D model. Working together with Bert, we were able to come up with a design I liked better than all of the pictures I sent to him. It was incredible, because when I turned my ideas over to Bert, he was able to use design concepts and ideas that I wasn’t even aware of to make the design far better than what I had requested!

The workmanship was really above average in regards to how everything came together. The appearance and artistry of old world mortise and tenon joinery is fascinating!

I’ve never been through the process of building a custom home or cabin before, so Arrow Timber Framing took the lead, got the trusses engineered, took care of all of the county’s requirements, and kept me from having to stress over anything!

Of course there’s always a certain amount of stress when investing money in a dream home or cabin, and you’re unsure of what’s going to take place. The whole experience of working with Arrow Timber Framing was very rewarding and the project came together better than I could have envisioned!

Thank You Bert and Arrow Timber Framing

Sincerely,

Gary Mack

Service questions

The timeline for a roof replacement typically ranges from one to three days, depending on the size and complexity of the roof, weather conditions, and material type. Larger or more intricate roofs may take a bit longer, but we always aim for efficient, timely completion.

3. How to hire a roofing contractor?
+-

To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.

4. How to check if a roofing company is legit?
+-

Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.

5. How to choose a roofing company?
+-

When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.

6. How do you know if your roofing contractor is ripping you off?
+-

Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
