Nothing but trouble out of this investment and company. I would never have bought into this product if I knew the headache that came with working with this company. Unresponsive, Cancels the appointments last second, and does sub-par work. Completely incorrect install job. I am still finding issues they caused that was hidden.

The salesman will talk a good game, but don't fall for it. Choose any other company out there. Trying to schedule an install for the solar panels and the watering heater was a complete nightmare. They are so unprofessional and inconsiderate. It took them months to install the panels and another six month to schedule an installed for the water heater. They did not show up on the day they were scheduled for for the solar panel install, even though I took the they day off off from work to be there. When I called they rescheduled for the following week,but showed up the day before they were scheduled to be there. I had to leave for work and could not stay for the install. They told me me someone would contact me about them water heater install. A few weeks went by, never heard from them. I sent an email, they said someone would contact me. Nothing. Months went by. I called them to schedule an install but they didn't have any dates that worked with my work schedule. I told them I would have to call them back. They sent out someone for an install the following week anyway and no one was home. They spoke to my husband on the phone and scheduled an install for the following Tuesday, telling us they only do installs on Tuesdays and Thursdays. On the morning of the install they sent me a nasty email telling me that since no one was at home yesterday (Monday) when they showed up for the install, they would be issuing a partial refund minus the cost of labor for the to show up unscheduled to my house. When I responded via email about the install being scheduled for today, they told me me they rescheduled for yesterday, a Monday, after telling us they only did installs on Tuesdays and Thursdays. They were did not speak to me or my husband and this rescheduled install and there was no voicemail or email to support this claim of a rescheduled install. So now I I don't get my water heater that I've been waiting six months to have installed and they won't refund the full amount because of their unprofessional screw ups on trying to schedule installs. This whole experience has been just awful, unprofessional, rude, time consuming, frustrating, and an overall nightmare of an experience. They need better communication. They need to to get it done together. They need to learn customer service. They need to be more considerate of people's time and work schedules. They need to realize they can't just show up whenever they feel like it outside of what was scheduled. They did this to me with the solar panel install and with the water heater install. Terrible company.

They are overpriced rates compared to their competition and They are con men do not trust them they are liars!!!... They dont pay contrators that work for them they make you wait until you are broke after months of waiting they spend the money on themselves vacationing on some island i speaking from experience i got a hand full of people complaining about them con them out of their hard earn money

The CEO Ben Elgin went out of his,way to make,sure I was pleased with the installation. They aced it for me. My electricity bill decreased tremendously. Totally worth the investment!

This company is the most horrible company I’ve ever worked with when they first make the initial appointment they sound great they promise you the world they promise you high percentages and everything but what is the worst sales tactic that they have and they get people in trouble is that when they come they asked you to run a credit check for you do not do it do not do it is not a credit check what they do they actually complete a credit application so even if you decide not to purchase the system they already have your credit application we are currently contacting our lawyer because they pulled this on us and we decided not to go with them every time we call the company we’re talking with somebody new because they can keep their employees there for a long period of time everybody lies what one person promises the other one doesn’t follow through so now. They are also highly overpriced there are other companies out there with a better reputation better reviews and a clean record with the Better Business Bureau than this company they’re overpriced and liars

I have been wanting to get solar panels for a long time. When a few of my friends got their panels, I really started looking into it. When I spoke with Chris Yuen, I felt very at ease. My husband finally understood my why. I was hesitant about it at first because we needed a new roof too. Chris helped us get a new roof and solar panels. We are so pleased with the results and the lower electric bill.

Terrible sales tactics and they're overpriced. One of their people, "Ro", yanked me around for a full month on a solar install, was pushy and aggressive on the phone, then was pushy, aggressive, _and_ sarcastic in person. The guy actually left our appointment in a huff because after doing a ton of research, getting multiple other quotes (Arres' easily being the highest, weeks after I made my budget and needs crystal clear), I wouldn't take any more of his patronizing doing-me-a-favor attitude. To top it off he then texted me "Consider that education and knowledge on the house. Call me when you Get serious or ripped off", and then called to not-really-apologize and to again smugly overpraise the 'free education' he gave me (literally the one thing he told me, that I hadn't looked into, was that ground mounts require 15' spacing, was actually incorrect, as it's 3'), wasting even more of my time; I wish I could attach the security cam footage and voicemail here. Man did I dodge a bullet.

After reading one of the bad reviews on this company from their BBB page, I thought I would write this because it sounds exactly what they (the two salesmen) were trying to do to me. After I was got my initial visit from the first salesman, two or three days later, the first salesman and another one come to my house. They had all of this information that they shared with me about how much I could save by going solar. At the end of their presentation, they tried to get me to fill out a pre-qualification application on the laptop that they brought. However, when I let them know that I still wanted to think it over, they were really hesitant to let me do that. They kept trying to get me to fill out the application to get pre-qualified for about twenty minutes after I told them this. It turns out, once I had them out of my house, I could look at some reviews for their company. One review on their BBB site explains the same exact thing that happened to someone else. And that was, the pre-qualification application (at least for the previous guy....and I can only think, for me too) was actually a loan application that would've obligated me for a sum of money for solar equipment that I didn't commit to. After I read that review, I called the salesman that originally came to my house, and he admitted that he knew about the dealings with the previous guy.

Went through Arres to install a new roof and panels on our house. The sales guy that helped us, Chris was great. Did not try to push it on us and did a great job explaining the panels to us. The workers that came to our house were very nice and professional. I am happy with the finished product. The scheduling during the process I can not say the same about. For example we talked to office about when roof would be installed we asked for certain days no work to be done because my husband works night shift, we were ensured that would be followed but those days were the exact days they started. Another time we talked to the office and they told us a day some workers were coming and they never showed. We called the office and they told us nothing was scheduled for us that day.

Great customer service. Took care of everything and made the process very simple. The installers did a great job as far as I can tell. the Inspector comes next week to check it all out so I can get it turned on. Yay!

If it wasn't for the first guy that goes door to door love his attitude, we never would have made the leap, I was sold cause I already had a little knowledge on solar panels and thought it was a no brainer but my wife wasn't interested in it at all until the next meeting she saw the numbers and it made sense, the second guy did an good job explaining everything but it took a while to be begin the install mainly because of HOA, paperwork and power company which they take care of, other than that everything else was awesome.

Solar installation is a a slow process. It is worth it . Arres did a fantastic job with all the permits and regulations . My system seems to be producing more than its rated for. Haven't got my power bill yet but it is looking like energy company will owe me. Thanks arres

I was in the bidding process for solar panels and received a call for this company from a call center. When I asked to have a representative from the company call me, they hung up on me. I called the number back to advise on the first person I spoke to being unprofessional and the second person hung up on me. I think they need to look into who is servicing their prospective clients.

The installation went OK with a few minor issues but the system has not produced as suggested. I say suggested because they will not make any promises as to system production. The system has not been worth the investment. We were supposed to be cash neutral with the expectation that we would save money in the future. It is costing us and the only one it has benefited is Arres Solar and their contractors. Would not recommend. Do your homework and don't trust what you have been told.

This is outstanding company with dependable and reliable team members. They answer all questions, provide an efficient quality install. I highly recommend this solar company to everyone who's thinking of solar.
