I want to express my thanks to Danny Clark and the whole team at Arizona’s Finest Roofing (AFR).
I had sought bids from 5 different local contractors. All of them presented as professional and courteous. But Danny from AFR was different. Each of the other 4 contractors provided me with an estimate to remove and replace our home’s roof, but Danny offered a solution.
He began by explaining different roofing techniques and showing me various materials. Then being a 3rd generation roofer he came up with a plan best suited for our application. The other roofers simply wanted to shingle over what was already in place. Danny opted to install a roof that had the potential to both insulate and reduce costs. He decided to place shingles on the pitched section of the roof and foam on the flat sections. To me that sounded like a unique way to beat the summer time heat here in Arizona.
Now don’t get me wrong, this option came at a premium but I am optimistic that once I have the opportunity to compare electrical usage data between this year and last, I am confident I am going to see a difference. And to anyone living through the Arizona summers, any cost savings in electricity is most welcome.
I also want to take this opportunity to thank his office manager Tabytha, the site foreman Glen, and the two work crews that did the actual work. All of these folks working together helped the entire job go smoothly. I would also like to mention that once the work was complete, Danny came out to do a QC check to ensure that what was delivered was up to his standard.
So in closing I would strongly recommend AFR to anyone in the metro Phoenix area in need of repairs or a brand new roof. I am looking forward to many years of a leak proof roof on our home.

Danny came out and gave me an estimate to install four vents in my roof. He was very knowledgeable and professional. The day of the installation, the crew leader, Domingo, found some other issues that needed to be addressed.

I had Arizona's Finest Roofing replace my 36-year-old roof, and they did a great job. Their estimate was a little higher than others, but it was worth it. Their attention to detail set them apart, especially how they improved the diverters to direct water away from the house, and how they secured the corner tiles with screws instead of nails.

Seems like we've had a string of good fortune recently with contractors (after a string of not-so-good fortune). Arizona's Finest Roofing, I'm happy to say, was outstanding. The pricing was very reasonable, and everything was explained to us clearly by Matt. Glen brought the trailer and materials right on time as promised. Glen and Felipe and the team started as promised, and were on task for three straight days, with excellent clean-up every day and at the end of the job. Matt came back today to walk to the job and make sure everything was right. At the end of it all we have a beautiful new roof - even our neighbors came over to say how impressed they were with the team's workmanship. I told Tabytha, office manager for AFR, that it reminded me of when I would work with my father and grandfather - no short cuts, and the job wasn't done till it was done right. This company made a premature diagnosis and an unnecessary roof repair for $2,250. They then proceeded to come out to our house a total of FIVE times as we had ongoing concerns with a leak, not every time correlated with a storm. I even asked 2-3x if I should call a plumber, I was told “no” and reassured it was a roof leak; after extending the roof repair they just said it was the thick insulation that needed time to dry out. It’s not our field of knowledge and we made the mistake of trusting them as professionals. It ended up being a leak in our pex line above the vanity. By this time it was ongoing for several weeks resulting in additional damage, ended up being 6-7k worth of work. We tried reaching out to the company multiple times including talking to the owner to see if there was at least a partial refund we could receive, he became angry and even accused us of “blackmailing” him when we stated we had no other recourse than leave a review at this point. He did eventually follow-up with an email, but then ghosted us when we responded to that and called again when we didn’t get a response. Lesson learned, but hope it helps others.

I have been using services of this company for many years. They never disappointed . Doing great job and provide detailed pictures of before and after . This time had some problem with scheduling and rescheduling, but my job was not urgent. Prices went up throughout the years, however still reasonable comparing to other companies.

Mark's crew did a excellent job, roof looks great and made sure everything was clean. They were a little more cost wise then some other estimates but did a lot of extra things to make sure the job would last. The only thing I didn't like was they don't paint the exposed wood they replace. I would recommend them to anyone.

My 80 year old mother's roof started leaking at the vents during the last storm about a month ago. She is on a fixed income so I wanted to do everything I could to keep costs down. I called 3 other local roofers to get an estimate. The roof was 27 years old so it was time to be replaced. All three estimates were in the $20k range without replacing the 2 skylights and 2 sun tube lights which were also about the same age. None of the other three estimates even acknowledged that they would need to be replaced, even though they were obviously cracked. I figured I would get one more estimate just to be sure these prices were in line for our home. Danny came out and spent 30-45 minutes on my mom's roof. When he finished he went to his truck and wrote up the rest of the estimate. His price was about $1500 higher but it included everything. He is the only company that would take off the gutters and replace them. He noticed the cracks in the skylights, also the old taller vents, which were the cause of water leaks, were to be replaced with low profile vents and the roof turbine vents were not working so all were replaced in his estimate. Danny reconfigured the roof vents and turbines make the roof breathe better. He gave me options to keep the cost down and a partial cash discount as well. We were given multiple before and after pictures too. From Tabytha in the office to Glen on the job site, they made you feel like family. His crew started the job the following week and had it finished in two days. They were clean, efficient, and competent. Danny is very personable and honest right up front and I really appreciated that. The other companies would have run up the bill on all the skylight and vent issues after already giving us a quote and that would have crushed my mom. I would highly recommend Danny and Arizona's Finest if you want an honest company to trust with your home or business.

Arizona's Finest Roofing recently installed a new shingle roof on my house in Phoenix. I interviewed seven prominent roofing companies in the Phoenix area. To help with water management around my house, I previously had gutters installed. Coming from the midwest, and being from a third generation custom home construction family, gutters are never an issue when putting on a new roof. For some reason in Arizona, roofers do not like it if you have gutters. Almost all of the seven roofers I interviewed wanted nothing to do with my gutters. They said I had to have them taken down and then reinstalled after the roof was completed. I knew this was absurd, but I talked to a gutter company just to inquire about the cost. The cost would have been $400 to remove them and then another $400 to reinstall them. And they said the gutters could very likely be damaged in the process. Then I read some favorable reviews of Arizona's Finest Roofing. So I had owner Danny Clark come pay me a visit. I told him about the gutter situation and he assured me I was right and gutters for his crews are not an issue. Danny's team helped me with the insurance claim process. As soon as my claim was settled, Danny's crew went to work tearing off my old roof and installing my new roof—leaving my gutters in place and unharmed. The process took two days and his crew was knowledgeable, efficient and extremely hard working. Special thanks and appreciation for Foreman Glen and Crew Chief Felipe! There were not any final bill surprises, either. Now the fun begins as I start to paint the trim around the house! Getting a new roof is not a fun task. From the initial call to ask for an estimate to the end of the job, everything went smooth and easy. Matt came out within a day or two of my first phone call and did a complete roof inspection (provided photos of all the damage) and quickly identified where the origination of my roof leak started. He was very good about explaining the issue and already had a plan for the remedy.

He explained what he was going to do, how long it would take and how much it would cost. They kept their word at every turn and I am very happy with the job they did and how great they were about getting me on their schedule asap.

I contacted Pulte Warranty and they said they couldnt be out until 4 weeks. This is monsoon season so I contacted Arizonas finest roofing and they were out the next day and Matt told me the leak was due to inproper install of the vents. Matt corrected the situation and even replaced a broken shingle and another roof flashing that wasnt sealed properly was also repaired. We had some leaks in our roof which was evident with stains on our sheet rock ceilings in the house. I contact Arizona Finest roofing based on local recommendations. Matt showed up on time and proceeded to look the roof over. He supplied pictures and explained the issues we were having and gave some recommendations. While Matt was on the roof he even replaced and adjusted some out of position tiles for free. Since our roof was close to 20 years old the underlayment had failed and so a full replacement of the material was the best option. The whole process was a pleasure, Laurie was excellent as she kept in constant communication, and Felipe and his crew that did the work were some of the hardest working individuals I have experienced. They showed up at the same time each day like clockwork, knew exactly what needed to be done, worked all day in 100+ temps, cleaned up during and at the end of each day, and worked longer days during the week and on Saturday in order to get the project done in 5 days. Felipe and his crew were phenomenal and I highly recommend this company and this group. I am extremely satisfied and impressed with this company.

We are now on the schedule to have the house repaired. Handling my wife's mother's property hasn't been easy. But Arizona's Finest make one more task on our plate so that it would be looking better by the time it's back on the market.

They came and provided me with pictures of what needed to be done, it took awhile for the repairs to be completed but they kept me updated, I will recommend them and will hire them if I need them again

I would definitely recommend using this company. Oscar and Jerry did a great job repairing our roof leak. They were both very professional and even fixed my roof tiles as a courtesy since they were already up there.

They went above and beyond. Called them to repair / replace some loose tiles on garage roof. Not only did they do what was asked, inspected
entire house and garage roof and remedied any problems, all for their reasonable minimum call out rate. I do not hesitate recommending them, and will definitely use them if needed in future.

DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY FOR YOUR ROOFING PROJECT.
1. They told me they prided themselves on being on the job on time. I had another appointment the day my roof was scheduled to be installed and had to cancel my appointment because they were an hour and a half late.
2.. They left 2 large nails sticking up, on my front sidewalk. I went out to take my trash out and one of the nails went through my shoe. Luckily I did not puncture my foot. I have pictures to verify this.
3. They wanted a check first thing but I asked them if they would hold it for 3 days until I transferred the money into my bank account. They promised me over and over they would not cash it but they did. I was charged bank fees and it was a big hassle for me to get it straightened out.
4. I purchased the most expensive rubber roof system. They took the tile off of my patio roof and did not put it back on. Instead they installed some rolled shingle type material. The seams are not even so I texted Danny, the owner of the company 3 times (which he stated was the best way to get in touch with him), and did not hear back. The fourth time he responded. I complained to Danny that I was not happy with the way my patio roof looked. I don’t feel he has any customer service ethics and NO integrity. He said if they reinstalled the tile then the 20 year warranty would not be valid. He basically just argued with me.
5. Danny told me to wait a year for the shingle material to cure and after a year he would coat it with Elastomeric rood coating to make it look better.
**NOTE** He claimed that this would cost him $300.
6. I called him a week ago, Tuesday, February 26, 2019, and he chastised me and said; you have waited a whole year to call me back about this. That is when HE told me to call him back.
7. Then he said that the cost of coating my patio roof with elastomeric would cost him $80. So he wasn’t truthful with me a year ago when he complained that it would cost him $300. I don’t know about you but I don’t like dishonest people.
