Adam helped me with preventative roof repairs that I needed to have completed. He replaced all of my vent overs and boot seals in a timely manner. He is very reasonably priced, communicated well and he did a very good job. I feel very confident in his work and am grateful that I don’t have to worry about any leaks or damage occurring because he has the experience and skills to prevent that.

Adam accepted our roofing job in Jan of this year, he demoed the existing roofing then, upon realizing it was not an easy job, nor a glamorous one, he disappeared for 18 days with zero communication. During that time, snow on the roof melted and it rained, completely destroying the inside of the building (an apartment and office at a mobile home park in Othello.) Once he realized what had happened, he quickly came back and actually finished the job, well before we, as owners, could assess the extent of the damage. His final bill was almost double what his bid was, which he never discussed with us. We tried to make an insurance claim on both his and our plans but neither will cover water damage. The bid for repairing all the damage is over 70k but is nowhere near the extent of what this will cost us because, as it turns out, his roof repair was not approved by the city inspector. He covered up weak spots in the roof decking that should have been replaced, none of the roof penetrations (vents etc.) had a new boot installed and numerous spots warranted the application of roof tar to ensure a watertight roof.
If you don’t want to find yourself in a lawsuit and with a possible lien on your home/property, find another contractor and, by all means, ensure that their insurance or yours will cover negligent work.

I’ve had my roof done for about a year now, it’s held up perfectly. Adam was professional, friendly, and fair. I’d have him back on our property again for wind repairs if I ever need them in the future. He’s highly recommended in my neighborhood.

Adam did a great job redoing our roof. He sent pictures and communicated in a timely manner. Very professional, we will definitely refer him to others.

Service questions
1. Should I stay home during roof replacement?
+-

It's not necessary to stay home during roof replacement. Roofing work is noisy and can cause vibrations inside the house, which might be uncomfortable. Most homeowners choose to leave during major parts of the project, but our team ensures safety and keeps you updated, whether you're home or not.

2. How long does roof replacement take?
+-

The timeline for a roof replacement typically ranges from one to three days, depending on the size and complexity of the roof, weather conditions, and material type. Larger or more intricate roofs may take a bit longer, but we always aim for efficient, timely completion.

3. How to hire a roofing contractor?
+-

To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.

4. How to check if a roofing company is legit?
+-

Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.

5. How to choose a roofing company?
+-

When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.

6. How do you know if your roofing contractor is ripping you off?
+-

Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
