Great company reroofed my tile roof to install solar then returned and placed tiles to match the rest of the roof. Work was great and done on time. I would recommend them to anyone I know. Prices were competitive too.

I am the president of our HOA for our 8 townhouse building in Santa Monica. We had a history of leaks in the building and it was time to do something about it. We considered replacing the roof entirely but it was just too expensive! So I looked into doing a silicone coating instead. I received a total of 3 quotes. One was very low but the contractor didn't inspire trust and the silicone product he was going to use had bad reviews, the second quote was almost as expensive as putting on a new roof! And the 3rd quote was the one from Javier of America High Tech Roof Coating and it was very reasonable. Javier was very knowledgeable, he was courteous, polite and patient. We scheduled the job and his team showed up on time. I went up on the roof several times while they were working and I could see how thorough they were. If I remember correctly, they first applied one coat of adhesive and then 2 coats of silicone. When they were done, I was very impressed with the quality of the job! We've had a few heavy rains since the job was done and we've had no leaks!

I have a commercial building in North Hollywood with 10,000 sq ft flat roof.
We did some roof repairs in past, but with the rains California was getting the roof was still leaking. I was looking for permanent solution to avoid replacing the roof, and decided to look for silicon roof coating specialist.
I have called few businesses,and got a lot of runaround, or phone numbers that I called were not the actual businesses but calling centers that outsourced prospective roofing jobs .

We weren't expecting this much rain in Southern California! Being in the heart of a busy street like York Blvd in Highland Park, my tenants desperately needed their roof fixed! I searched through Google and found American High Tech Roof Coatings. Called and received an immediate response from Javier. Javier came down, consulted with a great estimate and estimate of job. As soon as time and weather permitted, Javier and crew started working on the roof. Finished in no less than three weeks. So far, with these crazy pours, the roof is in great shape now! Javier also took his time to check in with the tenants to see if everything was okay. Very nice on his behalf.

Came out quickly to patch cracks in roof causing leaks... the price was fair. So supposed to be five stars right? The roof leaks again in a few days and in the exact same places as the first time. Calls and texts and emails go unanswered. Javier was also supposed to get me a quote for roof coatings but never did. He is all talk with terrible customer service and bad work.

No one does a better Job than Javier. He is actually the go to guy that even roofing coating manufactures call asking for advice with materials.

I am a homeowner with a flat roof and Javier from American High Tech Roof Coating coated my roof about 5 months ago. I was looking for 3 things: 1) lower my home’s temperature, 2) increase waterproofing, and 3) increase the lifespan of my roof. Javier was great to work with. He is an expert in what he does and he provided me a lot of education about roof coating and advice about waterproofing in general. After living with my coated roof through the hot summer months, I can definitely say that the product delivers on lowering the temperature of my house as it reflects the sunlight (which also lowers my cooling bill). Although it hasn’t rained much yet, I can tell that it has also increased waterproofing because even the nightly dew drips off much faster and efficiently down my rain gutters - no standing water on the flat roof. Time will tell if the lifespan of my roof is increased, but it definitely seems like it will - and coating your roof is much more cost effective than getting a new roof. I am a very satisfied customer and I highly recommend Javier and AHTRCI if you have a flat roof!

I bought my house a year ago. The roof was replaced 5.5 years prior and was in a really good condition. Unfortunately the roof leaked 9 months after I bought the house. I started getting quotes from contractors to replace the roof, but one of the roofers told me that the roof didn’t need replacement and that it made more sense to coat it instead. I started doing some research about roof coating and decided that it was perfect for my situation. I then searched online and found a few contractors for the roof coating and interviewed them, and I finally selected this company because of their good reviews, reasonable estimate, outstanding warranties, and their experience after being in this business for so long (their license is from 2010 which was the oldest among the contractors that I interviewed).
Javier finished the job on time and with excellent quality.

I have dealt extensively over the years with numerous contractors for my properties and I can say unequivocally that Javier is the best there is. On time. Does what he says he is going to do. And does it with the agreed upon budget amount. He and his crew did an outstanding job applying silicon coating to the two roofs on the buildings on my property. Other contractors I had talked to about the job were not going to power wash the roof and then put a primer coat on first before applying the white silicon coating. Javier did all of this, before applying two coats of the white silicon. He and his team are professional, courteous, personable and did an outstanding job. As President of my HOA’s older building in Long Beach, I was concerned about getting good roof protection without having to tear off the current roof and incur the expense of possibly having to replace wood structure as well. After extensive research, my HOA board decided to go with a silicon roof. We wanted someone who was experienced with this application and could offer their services at a reasonable price. We got bids from a couple different roofers and decided to go with Javier at American High Tech Roofing. What a great decision it was. Javier is an excellent communicator and is a man of his word. He did exactly what he said he would do and kept us informed all along the way. When he found a big rotted area in the existing composite and underlying wood, he replaced it at a very reasonable price and carried on. His work and clean-up are impeccable.

He was prompt in checking out the roof and said it couldn't be coated, but said his partner would call about fixing the roof. He did and gave me a fair quote. I have not made a final decision yet.

Project included removal of 5 layers of roofing, including the original wood shingles. Entire structure was re-sheeted with plywood and new roofing with the appropriate flashings installed in a very professional and expeditious manner.

Javier is great! He answered all my questions and explained the entire process to me. He was even nice enough to show me videos of past work to easy my decision and make me feel more comfortable.

We have 24,000 sq. feet of roof that needed replacement. Javier and his team saved the investment in my old roof and provided a manufactures 15 year warranty. They first put on an epoxy coating to keep the granules that had be falling off after 20 years in place. Then they applied multiple latex coats with drying time between. The valley got an extra silicon seal. The work was done on-time and on-budget saving me tens of thousands of dollars over a new roof. I couldn't be happier. This was the best roofing experience of my 45 years in business.

Javier and his team did a complete reapplication of a seamless topcoat on a foam roof system for my 7,000 commercial building in Pasadena. We were very pleased with the work, the quality, and the professional approach. The work took several weeks to complete because of prep work, multiple application coats, drying time between coats and weather but was completed on-time and on-budget. Javier communicated as the work progressed, coordinated with tenants and the onsite manager and kept everyone happy. Clean-up was perfect and wasn't rushed. I own multiple properties and I will put Javier in my group of contractors we use on a trusted and recurring basis. I have an eight-unit two-story apartment house in Hollywood and it had a leak that nobody could fix. Javier was very patient with my questions and did the repair so efficiently and successfully that I had him do the whole roof. Some problems with scheduling, but the job got done timely. In the end, this is an old house with ZERO roof insulation, and this was the best money I have ever spent on the house as the interior is easily 6-8 degrees cooler during the day and evenings than it was before.

Xavier is so busy (hard to reach sometimes) that he must be in need of a personal secretary, but quality of work is superior and warranties--we have an unbeatable one--are the same. AHTRCI saved us a full acre of roof tear off in 2017 and applied a cool roof on a thirty-year-old flat roof that looks gorgeous (see video) and, so far, is performing as well as it looks. Excellent torch-down repair capabilities (other properties), too.

Javier always does a great job on my buildings! I have used his coating to either patch an older roof or completely restore a roof. I own several properties in Santa Monica and Venice Beach and a 18K sf building in Burbank. Javier is honest, dependable and reasonably priced.
