Chose this company although they were not the lowest price but, seemed to have the best reviews.
In retrospect would now have been glad to pay more to avoid the damage they left even after I was told to keep the remaining 50% of the agreed cost.
I’d rather have had the roof repairs done right the first time than to be left with the mess and having to hire another contractor. Some of their carelessness could not be undone.
Changed my trust in contractors forever!

We have been working with ADR & Kevin (the owner) for the past 3 years after we bought a 200 year old 'fixer-upper". In summary, they did a great job repairing all the exterior woodwork and installing a beautiful metal roof. The details: ADR's team first removed the old, unserviceable gutters and went to work removing and repairing/replacing the facia, soffits and exterior crown molding around the entire perimeter of the house. Kevin recommended we use white cellular pvc for all the exterior trim - it looks great and will be nearly maintenance free for many years. ADR recently completed the install of the new metal roof. They demo'd the old roof (a combination of slate, metal and asphalt shingles), completed all required repair work to the substrate and completed the install of a beautiful black, heavy gauge standing seam metal roof - it looks fantastic! ADR also installed four solar powered attic vents, five 4" copper roof jack plumbing vents and completed the job by installing "snow birds" around the perimeter of the new roof. What a difference this work has made to the appearance of this old house - just beautiful! ADR will return in the summer of '22 to install roofing on the porches, "paint" the brick with a mineral/lime wash and install new copper gutters...we can't wait! There is still more roofing/gutter work to complete on an out-building and barn.

Overall our experience with ADR has been fantastic. We took on a huge project in 2019 and ADR has been working closely with us almost from the beginning. They have been very flexible in planning the various phases of our renovation to align with our project budget and we look forward to working with them over the next couple years to complete the restoration of this old Virginia home!

Kevin and the team at ADR are a pleasure to work with. Their rates are competitive, they provide a full service analysis of existing structures, recommend proper modifications/support, and give an accurate estimate of cost as well as work scope. The team mapped an excellent strategy to repair existing damage and build out a better exterior that protects the longevity of our home. The project was well managed and aesthetic considerations were foremost during these processes. The team is composed of efficient craftsmen and their work is exceptional. Project tasks were communicated in process and there were no hidden surprises. Workspaces were tidy and well maintained. Resources were fully utilized with little to no waste. They are trustworthy and dependable. I highly recommend ADR, their deliverables are excellent as is the outcome of our exterior home renovation project.

We called ADR for an estimate on our roof. Day the guy was suppose to be here he was late no phone call. He was 30 minutes late! He then came in and talked with us but he seemed unsure and very quiet when talking to us. He wanted to get on our roof to check it out. He got his ladder and it was a small one and then realized that It was to short. This was Thursday evening then he asked if he could come back tomorrow evening with a taller ladder and he would be in and out asap we said okay. Friday he was suppose to be here at 4pm didnt show up at all. We got a call from the receptionist that he didn't have a latter to get on roof so he wanted to go satellite shots and give me estimate that way we said okay be here Saturday between 12 and 1pm. Saturday we wait and wait and He is a no show again No call or anything. I Do not recomend this company and will not to anyone! They guy said they stand by their reviews and this one is not a very good one!

American Dream Restoration (ADR) did an outstanding job of replacing the roof on my house very quickly and with only a couple days notice. They were thorough in cleaning up any trash and nails. Even a follow up the next day to make sure I was satisfied. I would definitely recommend ADR to anyone that needs a roof replacement. You will be pleased with their professionalism and work. I highly recommend this company to anyone who needs high-quality work done at an extremely reasonable price. I called ADR to get an estimate to have some vinyl work done to a rental property my family recently purchased. They were the first company to return my call and came out the next day. Dave was pleasantly attentive to what we needed done and was a fantastic listener. Having worked with several companies who show up late, tell me what they think I need done, and proceed to take months to do mediocre work, ADR was a breath of fresh air. Dave submitted a quote that was almost $1,000 less than the other quote I received, even though Dave’s quote included wrapping some columns in aluminum. They completed the work in such a timely manner and with such great care, we had them come to our house and give us an estimate to replace our metal roof. Again, Dave came out in a timely manner, listened carefully to what we needed, and submitted a quote that was a few thousand less than the other quote we received even though ADR offered higher quality material. Paul and his crew came out and started within a few days of receiving our deposit check. In less than a week, they removed our old roof and put a new one on. If you are looking for a company that is focused on customer satisfaction over profit margins, a company that has unparalleled customer service, and a company that completes their work with unrivaled quality in a timely manner, ADR is the company for you!

They did a great job if you only counted roofing, however they stated they could redo my front porch needless to say they started the job in February of 2020 and it was never finished by them. It's almost a full year later. They never got proper permits to even start the job which was a total nightmare. They tried to pass the buck stating it was a county issue but as professionals they should have gotten permitting before the job was ever started. If there was an issue we had it everything from the permits to building materials to workers not being available to language barriers. We had multiple issues once they claimed to be finished. Someone came out and stated they would send someone to finish the job then they stopped returning my calls or texts and never sent anyone to finish the job. We had to get someone else to finish the job that they messed up on from the beginning. Only hire them for roofing. Not that it matters because they told me over the phone that because of the county they would never do another non roofing job in Frederick County again. Good luck if you hire them for anything other than roofing. The one good thing I can say is that the crew they hired for the framing on the porch did quality work As for everything else I am definitely not a satisfied customer.

ADR and their team took the time to assess and evaluate our roof replacement requirements. This ensured we selected the best replacement for our custom built house. Once the selection was made ADR performed the work on time and the house looked beautiful! They also persisted and prevailed with our insurance company to reimburse us for the total wind damage to the previous roof instead of the original offer to replace a few shingles at a time. In fact, our insurance company stated it was the ADR documentation that convinced therm to authorize the total claim. ADR communicated well and consistently throughout this whole process and was very responsive to the many questions we had. Highly recommend them.

American Dream Restorations did a phenominal job replacing my roof .I had gotten several quotes from roofers to perform this work .I was not looking forward to the inevitable bill for the work, so I was dragging my feet regarding making a decision . Kyle from ADR was the only person of the many whom I had spoken to who did call me with a follow up call and asked how ADR could work with me so we could do business . Business 101 (earn the customers business ) I had previously had solar panels on my roof and was concerned that the "holes " in the roof would be a problem . Kyle came by my house and did a survey .With a Drone ! Kyle assured me that the the roof sheeting would be replaced where the solar "holes"existed , and assured me that the existing "hole " in my roof where the attic fan was would be repaired as well. They replaced the entire sheets of OSB (plywood) in the affected areas ,not just a makeshift patch. I was very impressed with their quality of work . The crew arrived as scheduled and immediately went to work .The shingles arrived via truck shortly after work had commenced ,removing the old shingles . The old roofing felt paper and nails were removed and a new modern replacement for (tar paper ) was installed . The crew was phenominal in their efficiency and dedication to detail . My roof was replaced in one day from start to finish and they even went through my yard with a magnet to capture loose nails . I would not hessitate to recommend ADR for any roofing needs .

For me this was a big and expensive project that took me out of my comfort zone. I met with three contractors and was impressed with the responsiveness and knowledge Kevin demonstrated. ADR did quality work, on time and on budget. Kevin and the ADR crew went out of their way to make sure I was satisfied. Several weeks after the project ended, I discovered the exterior electrical outlets were not working. I called ADR and Kevin personally came the next day. I did not realize they were GFCI plugs . After driving more than half an hour to my house, Kevin fixed the problem in less than a minute. He could not have been nicer about helping me. When he said the GFCI was probably tripped by water, it occurred to me that the cause was the power washing of the deck and had nothing to do with the siding project. This is just one example of how ADR goes above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction. The house looks great and I know I chose the right company. I was kept informed at every stage, from when the material was ordered to the final inspection. The crew also did a great job on the clean up, using large magnets to ensure no nails or screws were left behind. I highly recommend ADR.

The ADR team did a fantastic job replacing my roof and fixing some of the siding that was rotted out on my early 1900's home. They searched far and wide to find replacement boards for my siding to match the original style. I know that was not easy to find and the extra effort put in my Kevin and his team was much appreciated. The job they did for me on my roof was excellent. They installed a new metal roof to replace my old one. And the best part was that they were the best price in town! A few weeks ago I asked if they could come back and put in a solar powered ceiling fan in my roof to ventilate the space. It was a no hassle experience and I'm really happy with the follow up customer service experience I have always received from ADR.
