Alphacon did an AMZING job on our 2nd story, 12x16 composite deck! The crew was punctual and professional, and cleaned up after themselves at the end if each day like they were never there. It's so nice to have a dependable contractor when you need one!

AlphaCon recently completed the transformation of my 3 season porch to an all season sunroom and I could not be more pleased with the final results. From the initial contact and throughout the whole process, Derek kept an open line of communication. He took into account all my suggestions and made the necessary adjustments to comply with building codes all while he and his team worked diligently to ultimately create the space I envisioned. The quality of workmanship comes only from someone that takes pride in their work (a quality that Is all too often missing) and experience and that includes not only Derek and his son, Noah, but the several subcontractors used for electrical, plumbing, painting and flooring. This experience has been the most non-stressful, successful and timely renovation I have done, and there have been many. To have worked with such pleasant, knowledgeable, responsible, and professional people is worth its weight in gold. I look forward to having them do my kitchen remodel in the near future. After being referred by a friend, doing some research, and meeting with Derek, the owner, we hired AlphaCon to help build our new home. He helped facilitate the design as well, with a wonderful architect.

We were new to the process, and from the beginning, Derek made it an easy one. He even went as far as helping us choose the best of the available lots to build on, taking into consideration the slope of land, how much ledge, location, views, etc.

He took the time to really listen to what we wanted functionality and style-wise. There is a really nice aesthetic in our neighborhood, and we wanted to balance that with our desire to not have anything too ostentatious or too big, it’s our forever home, and it was built with aging and upkeep needs in mind. Derek did a phenomenal job making our home fit in, while maintaining a beautiful uniqueness about it.

He answered any questions we had (and there were a lot!) and offered valuable and candid feedback based on his years of experience, which we appreciated.

His crew was very friendly, and the construction site was always clean and tidy. His son, Noah is learning the business. And if Derek wasn’t on site overseeing things, Noah (who is very polite and personable) would often be there. The quality of their work is exceptional.

It didn’t hurt that their family has a ridiculously goofy and adorable “job dog” named Vito that sometimes accompanied them.

In all seriousness, the thing we appreciated most about Derek was the pride he takes in his work, and his attention to detail. If things weren’t going as planned (as was expected by us during the build) or needed adjustments (mostly because I’m pretty particular), he was on top of it. We asked for a couple of features that were new to Derek (a heated driveway for example) and he embraced the idea of learning something different. Based on his quality of work and high expectations of his subcontractors, we were confident with how things would turn out in spite of the lack of experience with those particular things.

He came up with small, thoughtful ways to make our home even better and more aesthetically pleasing than we imagined.

It took several months to construct, and the time and care was well worth the wait. We weren’t interested in getting into a cookie-cutter home as quickly as possible, we were interested in having a fully custom, well-built home. That was what was promised, and that was what was delivered.

We finished up most things this fall, and some things weren’t quite to his standards, (the lawn didn’t come in well due to it being later in the season, for example) but Derek assured us he’ll come back in the spring and make sure we’re happy with the end result. We love that he cares enough to have everything be just right.

It was so exciting to watch our dream home come together step-by-step. We are settled in and couldn’t be happier. We would recommend AlphaCon wholeheartedly to anyone, and without hesitation.

Derek and his team did a great job with building us an in-law and 3 car garage. We then had him do our roof and siding and will continue using him for everything else! Highly recommend. On time and budget.

We have hired AlphaCon several times over the last couple years to rebuild our front porch, replace our front door and a few windows. Derek and his son did a very nice job with the design and construction of the build. While we were still in the midst of supply chain delays at the time of construction, Derek ensured that we had everything we needed in a timely manner to get the job completed. The subcontractor he hired for the mason work was top notch as well. Derek and his son took pride in keeping our yard and the construction area clean while working and made sure to leave everything in better condition than when they began. During the replacement of a window, Derek noticed some potential pest issues and notified me at once. Everything was taken care of and he continued his work. I was very appreciative that he was professional enough to make me aware of this problem that I never would have known had he not said anything. We are very happy with the work that he and his son did! I wouldn't hesitate to call AlphaCon back for some other projects we'll have in the future. He certainly does quality work and his son is following in his footsteps. Thank you!

We hired Derek of Alphacon LLC to do a rather emotional complete remodel of my husband's late grandparents home, now ours. When meeting with various contractors, it was extremely important that the reno would be done in a respectful manner & also that our vision was understood clearly as we would be living 80+ miles from the house & not there to check in daily.

20 years ago when I was 13 Derek built my parents their dream home. Fast forward 2 decades and he just completed building my wife and I’s dream home. Maybe I’m bias but I genuinely believe he built us the most gorgeous house I’ve ever seen. Through the entire process Derek worked with us and made sure everything was done to our complete satisfaction. He also didn’t hesitate to pass on any and all deals my way and not squeeze out every possible dollar. We had a pretty unforgiving winter during the process and he made sure things were rolling around smoothly to meet every one of our deadlines. Derek and his crew were terrific. Their workmanship was outstanding. His crew, talented and friendly. We couln't have been more pleased with this company. And the price? We were more than happy with the value. He's the first person I'm going to call for our next project!!!

We have used Alphacon, LLC for several contracting jobs in our business and our home. Derek is always professional and work was always completed in a timely manor. His work ethic is top notch. I refer him to anyone that I know needs and is looking for a quality contractor.

We contracted with Derek and Alphacon to have our basement finished. We elected to get 5 different estimates and not only did the Alphacon estimate come in a timely and detailed manner compared to the others, the estimate was fair and included all the necessary work at a fair price, especially compared to some of the other estimates (some of which were anywhere from $9,000 to $17,000 higher).

As far as the work, I cannot say enough. Derek laid out the process and the timeline of the work and stuck to it every step of the way, even finishing up a few days early. It is refreshing to have a contractor actually do what they say and show up when they are supposed to and provide quality work and do whatever it takes to get the job done.

Once friends saw the quality of work that was completed in the given timeframe, they have asked for his contact information and I do believe that Derek and Alphacon will be getting some additional business in the near future because of our basement project. 1/21/19

Most UNPROFESSIONAL and inappropriate company. Derek (business owner) did not show up within roughly 15-20 mins of SCHEDULED meeting time. Therefore, I sent message to call off estimate to reschedule, assuming it was a no call no show. Derek (business owner) says "on my way" and shows up regardless, now close to 20 mins after our appointment. With no one now being home to answer the door, he calls up and sends HARASSING and INSULTING text messages, which are all documented. Upset that because we called off the meeting due to his excessive tardiness (which he did not communicate in advance) he has missed some of his personal time and threatened he was going to "swing by again to see if I live there" ?
I've now had to get the police, state of NH, and BBB involved to document this incident, as this contractor has turned a simple estimate job opportunity for himself to a harassing and threatening situation.
Please be careful of this company and Derek and do not make the mistake of having them over for am estimate like I did.
