With the extreme high heat temps we have been having of late, we seem to be having our air conditioner run and run without a break and not reaching our temperature settings. Concerned I called Al & Riley's and tech JC to the rescue. Quick service, he was here the next day , and said our American Standard Air Conditioning unit was overfilled by someone with too much Freon? 5.5 lbs when it should be only 4.0 lbs. Our original installer had been here two months before for its Spring checkup? Air seems to be running normal now, and also we believe the air temp in the house is more even. JC charged us a fair price for his labor, and even called back the next day to make sure all was well with the air conditioning. In the future I believe we are going to trust Al & Riley's Air Conditioning.

This is our first experience with al and riley's, they sent a tech the same day to repair our ac unit. Jaime was professional and kept us informed the entire time.

Javier was great, arrived on time.
We discussed that the hvac was still sending vibrations throughout the house.
I told him I had one previous service call for that and the tech. Made adjustments to the motor that reduced the vibration a little.
At the end of Javier’s visit he said the large fan on top of the unit was “out of balance”, so he balanced the fan.
Now all the vibrations seem to be gone.

He was also very professional in his demeanor.

I called and had the same day service I had to work that day but they had patience with me they have waited for me until I got off work and. They have explained every detail about the unit and show me what size air filter to get for my unit and I appreciate everything that was done especially for the patients that they have given me.

Awful service. Al & Rileys used to be amazing. We have been using them for 5 years, but the last 6 months has been horrible. In January we had one of our inspections and everything was fine. Tech said no issues, system was perfect. Had our next inspection in May and all of a sudden the unit is overfilled with freon. But none had been added and they were the only company to work on our AC. It took TWO months to finally get a real respone about what caused the unit to be overfilled and they said they would have to come look at it. Two months to be told that. When they came out in July they claimed that we were using the wrong type of filters..... the same filters we had been using for YEARS. Not once in all the years of service had they told us there was anything wrong with the filters. They also told us there was some issue other issue with how the unit drains..... again, not once in FIVE YEARS had they mentioned that issue. And if these were issues now, why were they not issues in the years we have been customers or the last 2 inspections since January?? It's now been almost a month and no one will respond about fixing the most recent issue either.

On a different unit, they told us in May that it was leaking freon. When our home warranty company came out they said there was no leak they could find. When asked Al & Riley was not able to tell us where the leak was that their tech found. Seems like they've become pretty dishonest for some reason, which is sad because we used to rave about them.

Highly recommend, the technicians are very reliable and honest. (Carlos and Juan have done amazing) When I called to set up a last minute AC check up, scheduling was done in a timely manner.

House inside temp soared to 88, while outside temp was strangulating hot at 114. Called Al and Riley and they sent a technician right out. Phew! Javier added some Freon and set the air conditioner up for a leak check. Found the leak in just a few days and we weighed the fix versus buy options. We’ll have a new one soon!

Noah came to our house within an hour to fix our a/c. We had been having problems with it for a week and a half. We had been using Tri-Cor and they kept ordering parts which didn’t fix it. So glad I called Al & Riley’s. Noah found a brown wire that was broken. The a/c wasn’t communicating with the thermostat so it kept going off. We are using Al& Riley’s from now on. Thank you for the excellent customer service!

I talked with Al & Riley's about replacing the two furnaces and air/conditioning units in my house. They came to my house and looked at what was needed to be replaced. They gave me a bid, I accepted. They ordered the equipment, called me when it arrived and scheduled a time for their workers to come and do the work. They were fast, efficient, clean, and professional. I then had them put in two mini-splits in my garages. They come by a couple times a year and do a "check-up" on all four units. They are professional, experienced, efficient, very polite and nice to deal with. I purchased a "service agreement" with them when they installed the units, I am going to ask them if I can purchase an extension on this agreement or a new agreement. I am very satisfied with the quality and professionalism of their workers.

Our A/C went down at 7:46 pm and by 8:00 pm Al and Riley's technician was at our front door. It turns out that he was in our neighborhood and took our call. The tech replaced our A/C blower fan with a temporary A/C fan to cool our house.
We live in Arizona with 112 degrees day temperatures and really need the A/C to work. This gives us the time we need for us to contact our home warranty for the correct fan replacement.

My summer house watch person advised me of a concern with my AC unit. I contact Al & Riley's on Monday and they had a technician to my home Tuesday. He did a thorough check and resolved the issue.
The invoice was emailed to me and I was able to satisfy the payment on line.

We live in AZ. Our HVAC quit working. Inside temp was reaching 90 degrees. My wife has serious health issues. After calling A1 & Rielly, a tech arrived at our door less than 30 minutes after we called. Tech's name was Edward. He determined right away that our capacitor was no longer working. After replacing the part with one he had "on-hand" in his company van. He fixed it. Plus he did a full service, including checking vents in our attack. Great Service.

As always, Al & Riley's provides EXCELLENT service. A service tech (J.C.) was at my house this morning.
They are prompt, professional, thorough, and fair. I had them install a completely new system about three years ago. Since then, I've signed up for their maintenance plan where they come out twice a year and inspect, clean, and just give the A/C, filter intake, and thermostat a full check-up. They remove the outer panels of the unit on my back patio and hose out the interior, or blow out the dirt with a mini-blower. He checks all the wiring and pressures to make sure everything is running as it should.
You really can't go wrong with Al & Riley's!

A tech named Noah found a loose wire on her unit and fixed it. This was after 2 weeks of dealing with another company who ordered a part that was not needed, which did not fix the AC. Highly recommend Noah and Al and Rileys.

As has always been the case, Al & Riley's tech for todays call , Albert, did a great job servicing our A/C Heatpump Unit. Al & Riley's provided and has serviced our equipment since 1999 and has constantly provided the fastest and most complete service. I think that they are the best A/C Contractor in the Casa Grande area. They make A/C & Heating in our house one less thing you have to worry about ! Joe, Arizona City

UPDATE: Unfortunately this was not the cause of my problem. Now I feel like it might have been misdiagnosed from the start. It’s gone down 5 times in the last 2.5 weeks. When the 3rd repairman came, I was told that “it might be” a universal fan motor and I was quoted over $700. No way I’m going to produce that kind of money when there’s no guarantees that it is actually what is needed.
Getting a 2nd opinion.

7/19/25 - (5 stars initially) Was in the triple digits outside on a Saturday and my AC wasn’t working. I called and Austin was here in no time. Diagnosed my problem and fixed it. Was given a good cost on the repairs. Very professional. Will definitely call again if needed.

Always low prices! Always good customer services and there offers for discounts for work and parts is a must ask! Done a lot of checking other places. $984 estimate and when I finally found Al Rileys Air with even overtime I paid $330. You won't be sorry. GOOD PEOPLE
