We had some pretty bad water damage in a corner of our garage that was identified by a paint crew. They recommended Aetheling Homes. Zack came out the same day to take a look at the damage and offer what they could do. Within a couple of days he had a crew at our house who did a quick and quality fix to water and pest damaged support, sheathing, and sill. His price was fair, he and his crew communicated what was going on throughout the repair, and they finished within the timeline we agreed to. We will definitely call Aetheling Homes in the future!

We used Zack and his team for two projects. One was an insurance claim for roof damage after a big wind storm and the other was helping with a glass door that was broken into and shattered at a non-profit I volunteer with. Both times he was amazingly fast to help. Straightforward with the cost and explaining what everything was for. He documents everything to show what is being repaired through the process, leaving ZERO concern that something wasn’t getting done 100% perfectly. I can’t say enough good things about him and his team.

I was installing a cooktop for one of my customers and I needed some countertop work done to fit the cooktop, with customers permission I was able to message Zack her information and he called her later that day and in morning he swung by and cut cooktop hole bigger which blew my customers mind the great communication and service Zack @aethling homes gave her. Zack is a life saver! We had Costco installers out to install a new dishwasher, and they said it was too big to fit and left. I asked Zack to come & make adjustments to the countertop (he came out the day after I called which is AMAZING), and he immediately saw there was NO issue at all with size AND offered to remove the old dishwasher and slide in the new one so the installers could SEE there was no issue AND I would not have to have a huge box in my kitchen for another week!
Zack is a gem, and I am lucky and grateful to have found him!

The owner Zack and his crew just finished a big project at our home. We had a bunch of water damage so we needed varied types of work done: subflooring, flooring, wall reconstruction, drywall, paint, even needed a new kitchen cabinet rebuilt. It was super stressful to have to deal with this during the holidays but these guys did a great job of getting everything done well and fast. Next time I need any work done, Aetheling is the first place I'll call, definitely.

Aetheling homes has been super easy to work with. There guys are helpful, knowledgeable and great communicators. The quality of work on the projects I have seen has been top of the line. Def a get things done type of crew. It would be a mistake to not entertain a bid from them on your next project.

We had a really fantastic experience with Zack. We had a water leak under our kitchen sink and needed the cabinet baseboard and nearby flooring replaced. Zack takes the quality of his work very seriously, which was lovely and reassuring as a homeowner! I also appreciated that he used his discretion and experience to let me know what was a big deal and what was not. He was easy to work with, very professional, and did a great job. I really recommend him!

Zack was great! He got our siding repair estimate really quickly, scheduled us at our convenience, and showed up when expected. He is professional and funny! We will absolutely use him again when we need work done!

Zack and his crew, Ethan and Brandon, did a fantastic job on both the exterior and interior of our home!

On the exterior, they helped us with a number of things including replacing a door, re-glazing a window, redoing window trim, and repairing wood siding with advanced wood rot. Since we have an older home from the 70s, the original siding is not so easily found nowadays, but Zack went the extra mile to check lumber yards all over the area to source it. Miraculously, he managed to find a place that still had some inventory of the exact same wood siding.

His attention to detail and insistence on delivering quality work also showed in the interior work he did for us. We asked for his help to replace stained wood casing for a window and the matching baseboard. Even though the existing wood trim in the room was from decades ago (and wood stains are notoriously difficult to match), Zack was tireless in making sure that we were happy with the final version of the custom stain, and that it was indistinguishable from the original stain found in the rest of the house.

We also really appreciated Zack's honesty. Even if minor mistakes were made (which is bound to happen in any large, multi-person project), he told us right away and made every effort to make it right.

Knowledgeable about his craft and extremely personable, Zack was wonderful to work with, and we also second many of the comments already stated in other reviews about his team being punctual and extremely hard-working. We are truly satisfied and happy with the work they did!

We just got done with a major painting project yesterday. And it was just two Saturdays ago I had called Zach for an initial estimate, etc. Zach and his crew Brandon and Ethan are just awesome. I would give Zach 10 stars if I could.
Zach and crew are always punctual, and extremely diligent, thorough and upfront with everything they had to do and they were doing. In fact Zach went above and beyond the call of duty and fixed multiple issues that were left over by the roofers, and he didn't even charge me extra for that.
Zach is very honest and always took immediate responsibility for a couple of minor mistake and corrected them immediately. His crew were always 15-30 mins early and never left the site until late in the evening, to the point where my neighbor across noted their diligence and pointed to us how an excellent crew were doing the project and how thorough and extreme attention to details they were paying every step of the way.
Zach is a multi talented person that does a whole range of home improvement projects. With that I'm already in discussion with Zach for my next project.

I hired Aetheling Homes to install a French glass double door on 2nd floor. Zack is amazing, his knowledge, dedicated work and communications are beyond what I would expect from the best contractor. From the quality of the product, installation and removal of old door, Zack does a perfect job and his pricing is excellent to complete a great overall project.. Fantastic work by a great expert.

I can't say enough good things about Zack and his crew. From day one, Zack was extremely communicative with us and put so much time and care into planning and executing our project. I was very impressed by how thoughtful and detail oriented he was. He spent countless hours researching materials to get us the best deal on quality products and he always came through for us, even when our house threw curveball after curveball. When Zack says he'll be there, he is, and he stays until the job is done. In all, he and his team replaced all of our doors and windows, installed all new baseboard, trim, and window casings, and painted our entire interior, from walls to doors to trim. He also repaired some water damage, installed flashing on our deck, and did some reframing and drywall repair. On top of that, he and his crew were always patient, upbeat, kind, and trustworthy. My husband and I are so grateful to have worked with Zack, and we won't hesitate to call him again for our next project.

The company installed our new sign by the road. The job involved digging out and pouring a new foundation, building stairs to the site, and using equipment to get the large sign up on a slope and onto the new foundation. They were professional, friendly, and did a wonderful job. Highly recommend!

Zach changed out our old single french door with a new slider. He did a great job retro fitting opening, took great care with the finishing detail.

It was a great experience to work with Zach. He was professional with paperwork, communicated often, accommodated my schedule, and did a lovely job with the work I needed done in two bathrooms:
replaced water damaged subfloor, installed new vinyl flooring, installed new toilets, painted walls, and repaired some water damage around tub.

He finished well before the stated end time. I plan to have him do some outside projects sometime soon!
