Advanced builders responded to our inquiry the same day. The receptionist called us back and asked us several more questions just to clarify what exactly we wanted done inside and outside our home. Once everything made sense they booked our appointments for our home remodeling project. Their project manager came out and reviewed the home, and the next day he sent us the remodeling proposal by email. I think it took us about 2 to 3 days to think about it and we then met with them again and signed the contract and began work. All the contractors that worked in our projects were prompt and professional. Will definitely use these guys again. Great experience from the beginning of the project to the end of the remodeling project.

Nick completely took our house down to the studs. We decided not to do a room addition or any expansion to the home because it was already large enough. By opening up some walls and removing some structural walls we were able to open up the floor plan where there would be a great layout on the first and second floor. By taking down the walls on the first floor we were able to incorporate a great room and we were able to encompass a kitchen, dining and living room area all in one. This gave us the room to even add a media room downstairs. On the second floor we were able to redesign it in a way where we now have four bedrooms with their own bathrooms. And on the other side of the staircase we were able to add on a new master suite with double sink vanity jacuzzi tub and a standalone shower. And the backyard we took everything down to dirt and started from scratch. Even our deck and pergola were demod and hauled away and we started from scratch. It was time because the house had not been touched in so many years. It was literally falling apart. Nick preferred us to a designer who was able to help put things in perspective for us and give us the right design choices to move forward. This helped us tremendously because we don't have any designing experience. We are happy with the entire process.

Incredibly happy with the turnout of our kitchen remodel. From the time these guys started till we wrapped up nothing but good things to say. Every contractor who visited our home was polite and on time. Every time we had a question we would text our project manager or call him and immediately get a response. They made the remodeling process a breeze. We'll definitely work with these guys again if needed.

We used advanced builders and contractors to remodel our 2 bathrooms and kitchen. We first contacted them about a month ago and Nick was quick to respond and come out and see the property he then followed up with a detailed estimate detailing what would be done on a contract. The price they gave us was in our budget and made sense to us. The work they did on our house was impeccable. We are extremely satisfied with everything they did. Their contractors that came out were organized and well-mannered. Once they started the project they kept in direct contact with us and would always let us know of what was coming up. Another good thing about Nick was that he always answered our questions right away. I would highly recommend advanced villas and contractors to anyone looking to do the same type of kitchen and bathroom remodeling to their home.

We have used advanced builders and contractors several times now. Each time we receive great results. This remodeling company never disappoints. They are always on time. They clean up every day. They Stay in touch with you. We are always happy with the quality that this remodeling company provides. Just to make sure we're getting a fair deal we always compare their bids to other remodeling companies. But at the end we somehow always negotiate a deal and work with advanced builders and contractors. This past time when they came out they remodeled our entire kitchen. They did everything from the initial kitchen design to fabricating our countertop and backsplash and even helping us order appliances. Our next project that we are thinking of doing in several months will be the bathrooms

We recently completed a home remodel and a second story room addition that included our kitchen, two bedrooms and two bathrooms with the addition of a primary closet. From the time we met this great construction company we knew that they would definitely be a candidate for our remodeling project. Nick is a great contractor with design ideas and construction experience.

I can't count now but there must have been at least 5 to 7 meetings discussing all the options we wanted into Incorporated in our remodeling project. It was extremely important to us the aesthetics and design that we would incorporate into our remodel. All the teams that put our house together were inquisitive and had great vision. Even when they wanted to install our flooring they asked us which way they should run it. And then they would recommend what they normally do on a given remodel project.

When it was time to pick out our finish materials like cabinets countertops doors windows and appliances, advanced builders was a big help because they were able to put us in touch with vendors who offered us great pricing.

This was a long process and I'm glad that it came to a happy ending. From the initial time that we started our plans till now it's probably a good 2 years. It took about a year and a half to do all the planning and the permitting and getting permits. And the construction period itself was probably around 5 to 6 months including everything that we needed to do from demo to finishing the construction of the room addition.

We love our new home and are extremely excited about the outcome. Even now when I look around I can see there was so much thought and planning around almost every aspect of the work advance builders did for us. Everything has its place. In the kitchen our favorite features are the spice rack and pot filler. And the hallway we added our broom closet which made a big difference and now we can hide our mess. In the bathrooms it made a big difference to add frameless glass shower doors and it really opens up the bathroom. The skylights in the hallways mean so much for us because now we don't have to turn on the light during the day and we just get beautiful daylight. I would highly recommend these contractors for your construction project anytime.

Below is some of my experience when I was shopping for a contractor. In my experience in order for you to find the right contractor. You need to find the strong construction company and make sure that the contractors they use are reliable. We were fortunate to find this company. To our delight they were reliable and had very good customer service. Another quality that I will tell you is extremely important for a contractor to have is that he needs to fully understand the job at hand. He needs to be confident that he can build what you're asking him of. He needs to be sure that he can understand your blueprints and all your plans. Some of these kids that are calling themselves contractors nowadays can't even understand a simple set of construction plans. Last but not least, construction experience has a lot to do with the contractor you hire. You don't want a brand new construction company coming to your house and giving you a journeyman contractor. It was pretty obvious to us once we met Nick that he was experienced contractor. He was able to answer all of our questions. It also helped that our architect knew him from several other projects.

Our family recently purchased the home that advanced builders and contractors had built for developer. Although we liked everything as far as layouts we didn't necessarily like all of the color schemes and finishes. So we reached out to advanced builders and contractors to see how they would be able to help us remodel some of the bathrooms and common areas. Before we moved out to Los Angeles we had purchased a new construction home before and definitely knew what to expect when we wanted to remodel the bathrooms and the common areas. We also knew that we couldn't just hire any average contractor since this was a custom built home. I can company say that the homes that advanced builders and contractors builds are well designed and have great details that stand out. One feature that I still love today which is small but I use all the time is I have an outlet next to my toilet which has a shelf next to it and I pretty much charge my cell phone there most of the time when I'm in my master bathroom. And the same bathroom in the vanity there's a outlet which my wife uses for her blow dryer. There's no need to remove the blow dryer from the drawer and plug it in to an additional outlet since it's already plugged in to that drawer. These are just some of the small details that I love about the home. Another great feature that I love about the house is that it has its own communication closet. This is where we can control all of the smart devices in the home. In this particular room were able to control our fire sprinklers, AV and HomeSmart devices, and our alarm. These guys literally thought of everything for us. I also love the fact that they thought of the future and gave us enough room to be able to add to the systems that we currently have so we won't be stuck with outdated systems in the future. Every contractor out there can build you a guest house build you a pool and give you many amenities. But it takes a special contractor to think about the small details today and in the future.

After spending a lot of time online researching different contractors I finally narrowed my choices down to four remodeling contractors. Out of the four remodeling contractors we contacted two of them ghosted me and never showed up. So i Contact the two others. I was really looking for four solid bids that would give me a good understanding of how to remodel my home. I decided to get into a contract with advanced builders and contractors. Out of the four contractors I met. Nick seem to be best fit. He was very good when it came to answering emails and texts. His quality and professionalism definitely showed in his work. His pricing is okay not great but I understand it. He's also the type of guy that doesn't cut corners and would rather do it the correct way around rather than the cheap way which I appreciate it. But out of the best qualities that he has is that he actually picks up the phone and communicates with you. Several times throughout the entire project I would send him a text and he would contact me and discuss my text with me and tell me what he would do if it was his house. He could have easily just replied back to that text that said okay I would do what you want but the fact that he actually it would pick up the phone and spend time with me and encourage me to do the right thing was very impressive. I never intended to remodel the entire house but once I saw that everything was going well and that the house really needed a full remodel we decided to go for it. We were never supposed to take walls down or redo our electrical or redo our plumbing but when we started to do demo I found out that there was so much wrong with the house that it was better to start everything from scratch. Another point I'll give Nick is that he has experience professionals working for him not a bunch of journeyman or beginners. So you could say My overall experience with this company was very pleasant. The only negative experience I had was the dollar amount kept growing because we kept asking for more work. But I guess that's really not there fault.

I was very nervous about doing my remodel thanks to the horror stories one hears about contractors.. However, I had a really great experience with this company. They were big enough to be able to do my remodeling project. But small enough where I can still get personal attention for my home remodeling needs. Really their customer service was above and beyond. I picked this construction company out of three others I interviewed. They structured my deal so I would know ahead of time when everything was going to get done. And when payments were due. My project manager was always in contact with me and would give me enough lead time when I needed to provide some of my finish materials. It's good to know that there are still companies out there that will give you personal service and not charge you an arm and a leg. FYI If I could give you a personal tip it would be to order your doors and windows way ahead of time as the processing time can be lengthy

I have been searching for quite sometime to remodel my home. There are so many companies to contract for remodeling homes, but as a fairly new homeowner, I knew I wanted to remodel my house but I didn't know anything about the remodeling process or picking out a contractor. On one hand I thought I could DIY most of the things I wanted for example painting and the kitchen cabinets. But as I talked to more and more contractors with ultimately decided to give it to a professional contractor to do for me. Let me tell you it's not easy to pick out a general contractor. Each general contractor has his own way of writing up a contract. Each one has their own language in the contract and each one offers different pricing and quality. As a homeowner it can get very confusing which general contractor is best for you. I think the bids I got from one general contractor to the next was about a 30% difference. How can you tell which general contractor is best for your home remodel? On top of that you hear so many horror stories from homeowners who've had to deal with different general contractors throughout the years. I emailed five different general contractors. One of them never got back to me. Out of the four contractors I met, two of them looked promising. But after I received their bids I pretty much knew who I wanted to go with. ABC seemed like the best general contractor for me to work with. They did a phenomenal job writing up the contract. They showed up on time. They showed up for work everyday. They cleaned up after themselves. Throughout the remodeling project if something came up they would ask me right away. They didn't try to upsell me on any extra work. They didn't require any micromanagement. If I had a question we would always get a satisfactory answer. I am very satisfied with the work they did for me. I highly recommend ABC to anyone who is interested in remodeling their home. The experience has been pleasant and now I can enjoy my new remodeled dream home. Thank you for your services ABC!

When it came time to finally remodel our house, I wanted someone who knew what they were doing. I wanted someone who wasn’t going to lowball me or cut corners. We hired ABC as our contractor for our home remodel and it was the best decision that we could have made. From the very beginning, Nick was wonderful to work with. He was prompt, professional, and quick to reply to any emails or texts. His initial quote and time estimate were accurate. People warned me that remodels will take 2x as long and be 2x as expensive as the original quote but this was not the case. He did advise us to reserve 15% should something come up, but I want to say we were within 5% of our original estimate after everything was done, because we expected 15% we actually feel like we did really well. He didn't sell us high expectations which we appreciate. Unlike other contractors who gave extremely rough estimates, Nick actually took the time to consult his entire team from framing to drywall so that your estimate is very detailed and accurate. The work he did on our house came out SO beautifully. We get tons of compliments whenever people come to our home. It was a joy to work with ABC and I will never hesitate to recommend them to friends/family or call him again for our next project. Highly recommended. He got the work done to the standard I wanted and I’m impressed. Fantastic work.

Trying to find contractors who work in a timely fashion and efficiently is always tough. When we wanted to renovate our house, we set out to find three component general contractors. Who were familiar with doing larger projects. The first contractor we reached out to was referred to us by our friend down the streets where they had just recently renovated his home from top to bottom. The second general contractor we reached out to was a referral from a colleague of ours who also lives in LA and had done something similar about three year ago. We were referred to advanced builders and contractors, from a very dear friend of ours who had just built a new home with them recently. Out of the three general contractors we met with Nick seem to be the best fit. His contract was the most thorough, out of all of the three general contractors. He was also most the most expensive. After reviewing his contract though we found that he had added different scope of work we're not included in the other contracts from the other general contractors. These were the small things that would make a big difference later on. For example recessed lighting, tankless water heaters, two HVAC systems. Rerunning all of the utilities from the curb to the house from scratch. These were only apparent to us won't be sat down with Nick and discuss the Scopes of work and what this project will really entail. Once he explained the contract to us it was evident that he had thought about almost everything. Although his contract was more expensive than the others, we decided to go with him because he was the most thorough and he was the only one who really took time out of his day to spend with us and explain to us the entire process of building a new home. Once we understood the process all these unnecessary scopes of work became a definite must for use in order for this house to be able to perform the way it should. I should have written this contract a while back but unfortunately, I forgot all about it until now. I would like to highly recommend this company. I appreciate what they did for me. They changed my life. So if your in the market for it, your looking in the right place.

Being new to the area we had a wish list of things we wanted done to our home but did not know who to contact-- an addition in the kitchen, a complete remodel of the master bathroom, main bedroom to create a master suite, and a guest house, update the bathrooms throughout, and create a deck with a pool in the back. ABC was our general contractor - FIVE STARS -- whenever something came up, their team worked to find a solution as quickly as possible, and to save money where we could. They were very informative and honest when it came to making choices about the home. It didn't matter if it was 11pm, if we called they came. And all of their contractors were very professional and highly skilled -- exceptional work. They always cleaned up after themselves and were very efficient with their time. Would likely hire again and recommend to anyone needing building and renovations done.

Recently purchased a new home that needed a lot of work. I had no idea where to start .. but I found Nick. He was very knowledgeable and walked me through the whole process. I never felt pressured or anxiety about the project. My projects had lots of different variations in it. So I wanted to make sure that I had a reputable general contractor who would be able to assist me with the entire project. Nick did a great job on the entire project. From the beginning they he me a clear cut contract with starting dates progress payments and everything was planned out. I'm very pleased with the home remodeling they did for me. For the time being I don't need another general contractor and I would definitely refer him to friends and family. Felt like a great choice to buy a cheaper home and remodel if it's this easy.

The reason why we chose advanced builders and contractors is because they were responsive and sounded professional. We called them on a Wednesday afternoon and they were at our house the next day. Hiring contractors was a new experience for us so we were really skeptical of people. However, they showed up on time and did a great job on explaining everything to us clearly and concisely.

These are general contractors that definitely understand professionalism because everything they did was done with care and quality.

They completely transformed our home from an old, outdated craftsman (who probably hadn't been touching about 50 years). They updated everything for us. We had a fantastic experience working with them. The results are stunning. We will for sure use them again for any future remodeling.

I liked the fact that he was able to think outside the box and was always driven towards our goal. Another great quality about this contractor was that he was patient and listened to all our ideas even if they seemed not doable.
We were able to choose all of our own finishing touches, which gave us the ability to design the look we wanted and save money.
I felt he was always up for the challenge and now we have our dream home!

I want to thank Nick and his team for the great renovation they did to my house. It was a smooth development with them and I’m so glad we went with Advanced! We met with a handful of contractors after getting our plans done. The quotes we got were quite different, Nick's estimate was just over the middle of the estimates we received but we decided to go with him because unlike some contractors, he personally runs the entire project, and had extensive experience with building homes and the style we wanted and was very detailed. What we wanted was very specific, we spent a lot of time and money on our design getting it just right and needed a contractor who could execute and bring it into reality. He explained everything to us and was very transparent through the process. There were a few changes during the build but he guided us through, came with several options and helped us make the decision and respected our time frame. Nick and his team worked with our designer to make sure every wood panel, color and texture was exactly what we wanted. His staff even helped us source some of the finish materials - just because they really love what they do! Nick and his workers made sure every little detail was perfect before the final walk though. We wanted him to take care of everything, and he did, but we still knew what was going on, who was working on what, and when each portion would be completed. I appreciate their work and would highly recommend considering them if you are building a new home or remodeling. It was a great experience overall and I can’t wait for the new projects I have with nick and his team.

My name is Richard and about 4 years ago I purchased a property in Burbank. But my experience with Advanced Builders and Contractors goes back probably 3 years. Originally Nick came out about 3 years ago and looked at our property and gave us recommendations on what we should do to be able to take this old dilapidated property and at square footage so that our family could enjoy it. Unfortunately we didn't listen to Nick and we hired our own architect and engineer. They started with a set of what look to be beautiful plans but then we learned that this was actually a huge mistake because what they came up with we will not able to build and it would be way too expensive. We then hired another architect and engineer and got bids from general contractors including Nick. We thought that the prices of the general contractors including Nick's was over inflated and we decided that we will act as our own general contractor and build out the project ourselves using a bunch of subcontractors. This also was a mistake because we soon found out that the prices that they had quoted us and the time frames that they had quoted us was not realistic and putting together a bunch of different tradesman, that don't have experience working with each other was not smart. The foundation guys and framing guys were not communicating with each other the electrician and plumber and drywallers or not experience enough to take on a major new construction. And so on and so on.  I have to wasting 3 years of time and money. We decided to call Nick again. Just like always he had a great attitude and was very sympathetic to our situation. He explained to us what the mistakes were and how to remedy them. He agreed to take our project on even though the foundation had already started. He brought in his own guys and got busy right away. He redid our foundation and brought in the rest of his crew, this time around the framer knew exactly what to do electricians plumbers drywallers were all on the same page and would communicate with Nick and our architect. When a situation came up Nick would get in touch with the architect and engineer right away to make sure that the remedy would be a good fix and he would be able to pass inspection. Although I thought being a general contractor of my own house and being an owner builder would be easy and I would be able to put a group of builders together. I soon learned that this was almost impossible unless I took off work I put my family aside for about 2 years. I now have a new appreciation for what these contractors do and now understand how many little details there are before you build a complete house. When you can save yourself the trouble, I know my next project I will count on Advanced Builders and Contractors to make it happen.

We had a hillside property that was in very bad shape. Since home prices were up and the real estate market was doing very well we decided to build a new house on it and sell it. It took us quite a bit of time to be able to develop a set of plans and that itself was a whole ordeal because it was hillside and we had to do numerous tests and reports. We have to get soil and Geo reports. We had to get a structural engineer who could give us structural engineering reports and plans. We had to get an architect who would be able to design a modern home. And then after that and getting the plans approved by the city of Los Angeles. We then had to hire and look for a reasonably priced builder who would be able to build this hillside property and the hillside Pool within our timeline. We interviewed five builders and then narrowed it down to three builders. Nick was one of the three builders that we ultimately were serious with. I remember when we originally called him he kept telling us over and over again that he would need all these reports and all these plans before he could give us a realistic price. He put us in touch with the right people to be able to make this project happen. The entire process from planning to completion took about 2 years. But it was well worth it because at the end we were able to read the benefits and the profits. If we had sold the property as is we would barely break even. But because the real estate market was so hot we were able to take advantage and build a new custom modern home with a pool that ended up being a masterpiece. I'm currently looking at another property in the Hollywood Hills area so that I can try to build another modern home. Nick will definitely be my builder again.

Advanced Builders and Contractors was a complete dream to work with. They took our ideas and totally turned them into a dream come true! What I like most about Advanced is that they did things the right way not the cheap way. Everything was done correctly with precision.
This was our first hillside home, and we had no idea what we were doing. Advanced introduced us to the right architect, engineer, and geo engineer, so we could build our hillside pool correctly. Before finding Advanced, we had contacted 5 other hillside contractors. What was different about Advanced is the entire team valued our plans and told us exactly what to do and what not to do for our plans to be approved right away. They passed building city inspections on the first time. Nick helped us through this entire process. He was patient, answered all our questions, and in the event, he didn’t have the answer, he made sure to get back to us in a timely manner. Everything was done per Los Angeles building code and in a timely fashion. We did have a few issues, but Nick always made sure to communicate with us immediately and had a solution to fix whatever it was, so we could stay on time. We also love how Nick never tried to upsell us on additional things we didn’t need. Because of limited access to the property, it was hard to dig the caissons and remove the dirt. That didn’t seem to bother the Advanced team at all. The entire team always was able to think quickly and come up with solutions for every problem we faced. I am completely happy with the service Advanced Builders offered.
It was clear that the team truly cared about our project and went over and beyond to make sure we were satisfied. The team helped us stay in our budget and time frame. Our deck and Infiniti pool look amazing and have added tremendous value to our home. Our friends and family still can’t believe how they were able to transform our old, outdated deck into a modern deck and pool. My husband and I are so happy to have somewhere to unwind and relax from a long day. Advanced Builders has definitely earned our construction business for life!

I was amazed after working with ABC!! It was definitely a good thing for us. All of the contractors that came from them were talented and gifted in their own way. They all had their specific projects to do. There were many different teams that came and went during our home remodeling project. One set of crew would come and do the foundation then another set came in did electrical then another set of contractors came and did framing. Then another set of contractors came and did our drywall. And so on and on it was really great to see the progress on our home remodeling project. It seems like every week there would be a new set of contractors who would start a new project on our home. In the end yes we had to endure some hardships and pain and living away from home for some period of time wasn't easy. But it was definitely worth it to come back to a brand new home. With updated electrical and plumbing and drywall that didn't have mold. And with bathrooms that you could actually use with showers that actually gave you good enough water pressure and with modern kitchen cabinets and countertops. one thing I can tell you about ABC is that they definitely were not the cheapest I think actually the more the most expensive bid we got. But there were also the most complete from beginning to end. Starting with a quote that they give us, everything was included, there was nothing missing and they weren't trying to up-sell us at a later point. Everything that we had asked for was in the original bid. It was written properly and it did included all aspects of what was needed to complete this home remodeling project. A lot of the other builders that we spoke to did give us bids but they were either missing scopes of work, or for one reason or another things didn't seem quite right. I'm sure that they were also honest but ABC was a little bit different because it felt like they would do a great job on the project and would be a full service team for us. It's been about 6 months since we have moved into the house. And it feels great that things work properly, things look good and you can tell that ABC put in good quality products and used quality contractors to put the whole thing together. I have recommended them to several of my friends and you should too!!

We have always had great luck finding great contractors. And this time was no different. Advanced builders was ready to tackle our home remodeling project from the get-go. I think just like with any other industry you have to be able to speak their language a little bit. My family has always been dealing with real estate and construction. So my understanding of the industry as little as I know is still a great amount of knowledge. From the time we called advanced builders to the time they came out and to the time that they finished our project we were always treated like class A citizens. Every time we would call the office or the project manager we were always taken care of. Whether it was at the demo stage framing stage or completion stage we always knew what was coming up next, what progress payments we had to get ready and how long each scope of work would take. Advanced builders definitely delivered everything they promised. If I had to do it again I would definitely go with them again. You get what you pay for which is exactly what ended up happening with this contractor. The pricing was fair and accurate and clear. It included a lot of extras that the other contractors did not include, that probably would have been extra cost down the line. Which made me trust them even more because it seems like they wanted to put everything in the original contract rather than giving us multiple change orders in the middle of the home remodeling project. Every time we had a question they would sit down with us and explain to us exactly how the process would go about and what it would entail. Sometimes you just get a feeling in your gut. There are still good contractors out there who want to do good quality work for a fair pay and this company is definitely one of them.

Out of the four contractors we interviewed. Advanced was the only contractor which was the only one who recommended that we get approved plans for a project before they would proceed to give us a final bid. This didn't really make too much sense to us as we were thinking what difference does it make anyways at the end whether we get plans approved or not why can't these contractors give us a bid now. What we soon came to find out was that advanced builders and contractors were one of the only ones who wanted to be extremely thorough and not just guess at a price but be specific when it comes to timing and price. Because as you see once and only once you have a proof set of plans you can be rest assured that each contractor will be bidding on that same exact price using the specific method that was designed by the engineer I thought out by the architect. Advanced builders and contractors also recommended that we get a designer on board from very early on so that she could narrate what designs we wanted to incorporate into the architect's plans. This also seemed redundant at this point but we took their advice and boy are we sure glad that we did. They were right on all accounts, they were right when they recommended that we get our plans approved, they were also right when they said that our soil engineer should speak to our structural engineer and have all of them be on the same page from day one. They were also right about hiring a designer since we had specific remodeling needs that we wanted to incorporate into the set of plans. It seemed like the other companies who were not urging us to get plans approved wanted us to sign with them which didn't make too much sense because they had no idea about any of our design elements or how the final project will come together without any specifics of architectural or structural. Which also brings up the question of they had no idea of how they would build our project. Then how would they know what kind of remodeling elements we wanted in the project. How did they know what kind of soil we had. I am glad that we listen to Advanced. It became very evident after we spoke to these four contractors that advanced was the winner. They had our best intention from day one and they wanted to make sure that they bid the project properly. Highly recommend!! :)

I was considering remodeling my kitchen for a few years and just never had the money to. When I was finally able to afford it I was so spooked about hiring a contractor. Every story I heard was so terrifying! Everyone I knew remodeled got ripped off, the contractor did a horrible job and had to redo the project, or simply took their money and never showed up. I went on a couple different website to read reviews and watch client testimonials. After meeting a couple of them I decided to sign a contract with Advanced Builders and Contractors. They had great reviews and when I asked if they can take me to a few of their completed and ongoing projects, they did not hesitate! They immediately agreed. We ended up remodeling our kitchen, back yard, and added a new laundry room. Their crew was so respectful, clean, and always on time. Living in your home through construction can be a little bothersome and disturbing. Not to mention that you have no privacy but ABC's crew gave me as much privacy as possible and also disturbed me as little as possible since I work from home. The quality and craftsmanship Advanced provides is just superb! If you are looking for a good, honest, and trustworthy contractor definitely call Advanced Builder's and Contractors! They made what I thought would be a horrible and dreadful experience into a marvelous, easy going one! I'll certainly be contacting them down the road for all my remodeling projects.

Amazing company to work with. We built a custom home in the Brentwood area. Building a home was an exciting but daunting choice, there were many options through the process, but the Advanced team was always available for guidance and to make sure everything went smoothly and was done correctly. The owner was always available, any questions that we had he answered quickly and timely. No "sales" person trying to get us to upgrade or sell us on anything. We had full control over our finishing materials which was great. Because we purchased them ourselves and provided them to Advanced we were able to feel hands on and save money. Hands down the best experience I've had with a contractor. Advanced Builders & Contractors completed our entire new home construction in Malibu. We were building on a sloped property and were searching for a contractor who knew how to build on hillside land. From our initial meeting, we knew Advanced knew what they were doing. We saw some of the other homes they had done and were very impressed. Their team made the entire build look easy (which, it wasn't because we had multiple other contractors visit the plot and didn't feel comfortable taking on the project). We already had the design plans done and pulled permits so we were ready to go! Advanced was able to schedule a meeting within a few days and started working within a couple weeks of that meeting. The home is exactly what we imagined! This is a luxury estate that required a high level of attention to detail and their team was spot on. Quality control was impeccable. This was by far the best investment we have ever made and we are so happy to have had an honest, caring and personal team to work with on it. If you are looking to build a custom home, especially in the hills, these are the people to contact!

The team at ABC exceeded our expectations. Our Hollywood Hills home kept its 60's charm yet looks fresh and modern. Nick managed every contractor and made sure everything was done to our specifications and a high quality standard. Major remodel, updates throughout including smart home and security features. Our architect and designer worked alongside Advanced Builders the entire process, ensuring the details were perfect. Nick was easy to work with, always had a professional and can-do demeanor, and explained everything. I really felt like our home was his priority during the time we worked together. Highly recommend their work and we LOVE our home.

Incredible remodel by ABC in 2018....and couldn't be happier! Tore into much of the house going for a more modern, open, clean feel but still good for a family. I think they achieved that goal! The people Nick has on his team do really nice work. There was an issue with our faucets being back ordered for months, but Nick was able to pull some strings and somehow get that cut down to just a little over a week's delay with the manufacturer. In the end, got exactly what was envisioned, very happy! My opinion, BEST general contractor in the Los Angeles SFV area! They were kind enough to take professional photos for us once completed....Friends & family all comment about how beautiful it all is now that its furnished. SO pleased....

We wanted to convert my garage into an ADU to start bringing in rental income and add a pool to our home in Calabasas. After working with our architect for months (not affiliated with Advanced) and going back and forth with the city to get the plans approved which was a headache itself, we were finally ready to build. I contacted Advanced Builders & Contractors and a few other General Contractors I found on Yelp and BBB. I emailed them the plans and they were able to meet with me that week and get me a quote. Out of the 4 contractors I met, Nick wasn't the cheapest (but also not the highest we received) but I really liked his energy, clarity, and that he always answered his phone (which continued after we hired him), he sat down with us and went through all of the costs and the positives and negatives about different materials he could use. No one else spent so much time with us or followed up. We decided to sign with him and he got to work right away. There were a couple things that came up, we had a drywall issue where things just weren't as smooth as we wanted but he took care of it until it was just right. After going back and forth with the city, I really appreciate how smooth the building process went. I can't wait to use our new pool this summer, it made our backyard look like a resort! We will start showing the rental soon, but feedback from friends and family has all been excellent. Now that I see how beautiful our rental is, I kind of want to update our house too! In any case, we would hire ABC again in a heartbeat.

I am so blessed to have met Nick through Advanced Builders. Him and his team made every effort to make sure my experience and the job was more than well done. They updated me and kept me fully in the loop while getting everything done within a great time frame.Good company overall to work with. My biggest regret is that I did not sign up to work with them sooner. Advanced builder’s had originally come out to my house about 3 years ago. But I didn’t sign a contract to do any construction with them. Instead I chose a cheaper company to work with. Boy did that backfire, because they weren’t based out of Los Angeles, everything would take so long. In the end the whole job came to a halt and that contractor never came to finish the job. So I turned back to Advanced builder’s for help. Nick Came out right away, and helped my though the entire process.
I couldn't be happier with the results and I will be sure to recommend them every chance I get.

We put an addition on to our home and it was a big project. I got the referral through a friend of mine from work. Advanced was pleasant to work with and always had our interest in mind throughout the project. Since our project required cassions and lots of metal steel beams it wasn’t a regular project we could just hand over to any general contractor. I guess I never really understood that hillside project required so much more time and attention. Add to that all the other professional involved like the inspectors, architect, engineers, soil guys, framers, foundation contractors, and more it kind of freaks you out. But im happy to say at the end, Advanced took care of everything for us, and made the process as pleasant as possible. Now it looks like the addition was always there. You can hardly tell we added it on.

After looking for days and days friends of friends told me to look into Advanced builders and contractors and we knew right away after talking to them it was going to be a great experience. We had some subpar experiences in the past, so this was refreshing to deal with. Our home was due for a remodel, and expansion. Nick helped us pick out an architect, and engineer. Nick showed my partner and I all of our options and helped us pick out all the finish’s. He spent numerous hours with us at jobsite making sure everything was going smoothly. Because this was a rather large project it took about 14 months to complete. But throughout the whole time Nick stuck by his word, and didn’t hit us with any unfair change orders. Most of the change orders were due because we added things like, extra lighting, home automation, a more expansive HVAC system, and more things like a new roof. Sometimes things didn’t go as planned and we had to redo somethings, especially to pass city code. But most of the time they passed city inspection with a breeze and we were on to the next phase of the remodeling. The project was done in sufficient amount of time, and it was done in our budget. Since then Nick has stopped by countless times to answer our questions or to tie up loose ends. I have a newfound respect for the construction industry now and the people that work in it. I consider myself lucky to have found such an amazing contractor. So glad to finally be done with this process, and just like our friends friends, will be passing along their info whenever we can. Dream come true, five stars!

Advanced builders and contractors were awesome! After quite a process of searching online, over the phone, etc, we came across ABC, and Im glad we held out for them.

We hired Advanced builder & contractors to remodel our property, they took care of our dinning room, living room, patio, bbq area, pool, kitchen, den, tv room and bathrooms. One of the most courteous construction companies I've ever worked with. The work done was beautiful and high quality, and they kept to the schedule, even with more work that we had added on.

The process was mostly good and fun to watch. We did hit some glitches along the way which meant more money had to be spent to remedy the problems, and a bit of a long delay due to some more permits that the city of LA requested.

Our project manager was always easy to get a hold of. We liked his approach, he wasn't trying to be a sales man. And any time something came up, whether it was on their end or ours he always professional and caring. He even offered many suggestions which we appreciated so much. Since he does have more experience and knowledge with these things.

They did a stellar job. They saved us a lot of headache with the permits, and in the end I believe I got great service and quality.

I had a great experience using their services. My friend recommended me their services and I am very glad with the outcome. Our home now is big, clean and has a open floor plan. The kitchen and great room turned out better than I could have ever imagined. The bathrooms spaces now make sense. Everything is organized. I feel like we used every square feet of this house to the best of our ability. The entire process of framing and foundation was fast. Our project manager was always easy to get a hold of. He even offered a few suggestions which we appreciated so much. Since he does have more experience and knowledge with these things. Their prices were fairly reasonable. We got cheaper bids but I felt more comfortable with ABC. Great work to say the least. Outstanding experience and again I say I highly recommend using their services.

I appreciate hard work, I definitely saw that in Nick. I was pleased with all the tedious work and professionalism. As I’m sure many people know Its very hard to find a trust worthy contractor, especially in west los Angeles. I searched on line for top rated contractors, I also got some recommendations from friends, but at the end of my search I contacted an old friend of mine who is an architect and does lots of high end homes in Beverly hills, and in Encino. He was a great help. He recommend Nick and I trusted him and went with my gut instinct. I can't say enough wonderful things about Advanced Builders and Contractors! They completely remodeled my home from the floor to the roof, and from the front yard to the pool. The entire process took about a year, but well worth it. Nick Saved me some money where he could (but he didn’t cut any corners) and was a great person to deal with. He was respectful and easy to work with. He had a lot of great contacts and gave me several great recommendations.

We gutted the entire home and everything was redone, and I mean everything. Every rooms was redesigned to fit my needs. They also knocked down some walls wall to make it more of an open concept design. I always wanted a kitchen island and I was finally able to get one!

The work was incredible! Everyone from ABC did everything possible to stick with my insane timeline. But the best part of working with Advanced Builders and Contractors to be their honesty and integrity. Trusting someone with your home is super scary! I am extremely picky. I want everything done in a certain way.
Nick is definitely a one of a kind contractor. I wanted certain things done specifically to my request and he delivered. If I found any flaws in anything or I wasn’t happy with something he had know problems accommodating me. What a relief to know I found someone I could finally count on.

Wow I just can't say enough about this company! After much consideration we chose Advanced Builders and Contractors to remodel our kitchen. Our new kitchen, consisted of new custom cabinets, quartz counter tops, mosaic back-splash and tile flooring. With any concern or question we had they were always there to answer questions. Their tile work and grouting turned out stunning! The tile guy was extremely fast and diligently. The finished kitchen seems straight out of a magazine. I absolutely love it!
All the workers arrived on time every morning, worked long days and when they left they cleaned up in and out. I am so happy I can share about my recent experience. I have heard horror stories about people's construction woes...Advanced just finished our remodeling project and we are so happy with the design and all the finishing elements. The quality of the work speaks for itself. The workers were on time over the entire project and kept us informed of changes and issues that came up along the way.
They were even willing to be flexible with our schedule and timeline... this was impressive since we changed our mind on a few important key details in the kitchen and overall designs. Advanced’s crew was clean and polite. I really liked them all! We are happy to refer them and will use them again if we have the opportunity.

I wanted to build a new modern house in west Los Angeles but didn’t know where to start or know any of the regulations on building a new home. I called 4 different contractors but I really liked Advanced Builders and Contractors due to their knowledge on building a new homes. Their office staff was very polite straight and to the point. I spoke to Nick and he answered all my questions in a very precise manner. When he came out to my empty lot there was a lot to discuss. I had no clue where to start or who to call. He took care of everything! He helped me with the soils report and architectural plans. I didn’t lift one finger on this whole process. When they started the actual labor Nick and his superintendent kept me well informed of everything and every step that progressed. When I stopped by to check out the progress it was very noticeable. They were on time everyday and their workers got straight to work everyday.. As for the finishing materials, when it was time to pick them out Nick made the whole process so easy. I was very pleased with Advanced Builders and Contractors and their crew. When I was planning to build a new home I thought the whole process would give me one big headache and I have to say it was quite the contrary. Sure we had delays and issues along the way, but Nick and his team did whatever they could on their side to help. I’d like to thank everyone from advanced builders!

I bought a home last year that needed a lot of work. Having been burned by contractors before, I decided to get the kitchen done first as a trial run and then proceed from there. It's pretty small and shouldn't have been too hard of a job, but very few companies wanted to take the job because apparently there was no money in it. Advanced Builders and Contractors was one of the few contractors who agreed to come and take a look at the project.

Nick came to my house on time and was very easy to talk to. I walked him through what I wanted and he was able to answer any and all questions I had with no BS. I hired him to do the kitchen and he completed the job so well that I decided to hire ABC for the rest of the renovation. They gave me a detailed proposal with a breakdown of my payment plan which was extremely reasonable and didn't try to jerk me around. I never thought a contractor like this could exist but I was wrong. I would use them again in a heartbeat.

Excellent day, Im not much of a person who leaves reviews although I do think it is important to for those like me that likes to do their research to find these types of reviews since it helps a ton. I was referred to Advanced Builders and Contractors when I applied for a home loan to renovate my home. I couldn’t be happier with the referral. They are very caring, extremely helpful and patient with the escrow loan officer. Nick answered every questions, every phone call, and text at all times. Although this can be a gruesome process Nick made it as easy as possible. He wrote out a bid within the deadline the loan office gave me. I had a big empty lot in my backyard. I wanted to build another smaller house. I didn't know where to start and I wanted to hire a company who took care of everything from A to Z. I wanted the processes to be as stress free as possible. When I called Advanced Builders they answered all my questions with language that I could understand. I don’t know much about construction so the los angeles building codes and regulations can sometimes be difficult to understand. Advanced broke everything down to me. They told me what the first step would be and they took it from there. I didn't have to do much. They did all the calls and scheduled what needed to be scheduled. All they asked me to do was send them an email of my schedule so that can schedule everything else around my schedule. I loved that they were so accommodating! They literally took care of everything. They were very helpful and were always available to speak when I wanted an update. They are great at what they do! They're definitely not the cheapest bid out there but you get what you pay for. I now have a beautiful small home now that I can either rent out or use as my studio! I contacted a few contractors that I found online, some from yelp, and 2 were referral's. I remodeled my kitchen and guest bathroom. I interviewed the better ones twice and decided to go with Advanced Builders and Contractors because the contractor who came out was sam he answered all my questions promptly and 100% with all honestly. I really liked their reviews from not only one site but multiple sites.

I searched for 5 local LA contractors in my neighborhood. I reached out to 4 who could do design and build. Out of the 4 contractors, 2 were very good, 1 contractor never got back to me and the other one was very expensive. Out of the 2 contractors that were good I choose advanced builder and contractors. The pricing was good and competitive, they were easy to work with. They listened to my ideas, and were easy too understand and communicate with. I am happy to say that it was a great experience.My project came out just the way I envisioned it. I found a few pictures on magazines and online and I sent them the pictures and they went out of their way to give me exactly what I wanted. They finished the project on time and on budget. My project manager kept me updated of every step of the project and was always available to speak if I had any questions. He was also very helpful on helping me pick out all my finishing materials. I did my research and received several estimates. I chose Advanced Builders and Contractors because of their honesty and quality of work. Our project manager was transparent from the beginning. He explained that they wouldn't be the cheapest bid, but we would get excellent service and high quality work. I was very particular about what I wanted in the bathroom and had everything picked out. Our project manager gave his skillful input on my selections and how to achieve an amazing updated bathroom.

It would be the guest bathroom so I wanted it to feel comfortable and look elegant. My goal was to impress my family when they stayed with us. I wanted to use high end finishing materials to give it an elegant look. We used sconces lights and a single sink vanity with round mirrors. As for the bathtub, . we had a lot of free space to use up. We went with a freestanding bathtub and a stand up shower with shower benches and a shower niche. The entire bathroom was white, but I wanted my floors to stand out so we used dark ceramic wood look alike tile.

The crew blew me away. They were very professional and resourceful. They were accommodating with our many requests and always kept us updated on the project. They were respectful of our home and never made us uncomfortable.

The outcome of my bathroom remodel exceeded my expectations. I am thrilled for guests to stay with us. I am excited for them to see my newly renovated bathroom and will definitely recommend Advanced Builders and Contractors to all family and friends.

They were very professional in answering all of my questions. After creating a game plan, they carried out a complete renovation of me and my husbands kitchen. With a budget of 30k they were able to install new flooring, counter tops, cabinets, light fixtures and appliances. We were very happy with their work! I look forward to working with them again.

I was planning on remodeling my home because it hasn't been remodeled in 15 plus years and it's outdated. So I started looking for people to help me upgrade and modernize my home. I looked around for a while but I finally had my mind set on Advance Builders and Contractors. They were very helpful on everything and the project manager was always great! Always kept in touch and updated me on how things were going.

I found different ideas from magazines and online that I liked, so I brought these ideas to the project manager and he said he could make it happen. We renovated our kitchen, bathroom, and fireplace.

Amazing experience! We started out doing just the kitchen but ended up using them for 3 bathrooms, new tile flooring, and the entire exterior and new fence. Great service! Got my guest bathroom vanity replaced without any problems. The crew came in, took out my old vanity, replaced it with a new one and did a wonderful job. The prices were decent as well. I would highly recommend visiting their showroom before making final selections!
