Ace Marketplace

I have always loved Ace stores and will continue to, but this location has the most hit-or-miss customer service. My husband says he won't even go in there anymore, but for various reasons I continue to.

The last time I was there, my sister and I spent about 25 minutes picking out garden seeds. There were three racks of seeds, one of which had a "4 packets for $1" sign on it, so we spent a good amount of time comparing the different specs of the brands and prices of the seeds between the three different racks. We finally went to check out and the sale price wasn't coming up as they rang us up; so we pointed that out and the employee said "Oh shoot I should have taken that sign down, that sale ended 2 days ago". So now we were paying 4x what we thought we would be when we picked out that brand of seeds. We asked what there policy was in this situation and they just kind of awkwardly stood there and said the manager was still on lunch break. Another employee said last time this happened they just charged the customer full price "since the sale was over". So, that's what they did with us.

This is just one example; something comes up about every other time I'm there (last time they messed up mixing a paint color, which I didn't realize until I was actually painting with it). Not to mention that the entire time you shop you basically have to overhear their constant personal conversations because they're mostly standing around with (apparently) nothing better to do. End rant.

Always friendly service always a clean environment always unique items almost always fairly priced I just wish sometimes that a bigger variety what they don't have they can order and get for you. A small town store where you can still find common courtesy and friendly service.

This is a typical Ace hardware store. The help is friendly and very helpful. This store also has nice little gifts and trinkets that I love to browse through whenever I'm there. Wide variety of paints, tools, and gardening needs

Needed some paint. Had tried somewhere else for a quart and it took forever to match and find the paint and it was expensive. Needed more a few days later, so being closer to my regular Ace Hardware I was excited to invest in four gallons that were on sale. Juli and Barbara whipped up a couple of color matches and before long I was on my way home with perfectly matched paint at a great price. The visit was improved with a short visit with the king of the store; resident welcoming comkitty, JJ. ACE is definitely the place.

Always great service, I'm a local here so they always know me. Usually get sweet tea, great place for any yard needs. Also board games, stuffies and toys, decorative stuff for yards and houses, hardware (obviously) and lots more.

I was not greeted when I walked into the store like normal. I was in an aisle looking at spray nozzles and the manager was in the aisle as well. She did not speak to me and just gave me a dirty look and turned her back to me. She seemed very rude and had no customer service skills. It is a good thing that I didn't need any help or I may have made a scene for how rude she acted.

It's ok but sorry kids you need to step up a little. You work for the customers not to stand there and talk about last night's party. Not all of ya'll are like this. Take lessons from them. Just saying.

Staff know there stuff and will make sure u have all you need to get the job done. No having to go back to the store because I forgot somthing they make sure u got it all

Friendly and helpful if you can't find what you need They want to help you locate it easily. Fast and informative.

Love the workers and the service. If they don't have the product you're looking for they will order it in.

Great staff...very helpful. Awesome prices! I received immediate attention when I walked in the door and quickly gathered everything I needed. We will be back soon!

Awesome customer service. Cooper always is friendly and willing to help with whatever we are looking for, along with the rest of the crew.

Very well stocked store. The staff were very helpful in finding the supplies I needed and knowledgeable as to where items were. Aisles were clear, store uncluttered.

That used to be True Value Hardware Store. Ace Hardware has bought it last two year or so. Nice friendly cashiers and assistances.

Very friendly and helpful, even if they don't have what you need they will help you find it somewhere else
