In 2019, we contracted Cory with AC Burton Homes to manage the construction on our 3600 sqft + private residence on a sloped and wooded 5 acre lot. Our Mountain Craftsman design was a complex project with tremendous upside in value if executed to owner specifications. Cory and his team of contractors nailed it, completing a home valued in excess of the cost to build. Of the seven local area contractors we interviewed, Cory provided the most flexibility and willingness to work with us on material and contractor selections to minimize costs and maximize value in the areas most important to us. We hired Cory and AC Burton Homes to repair water damage from a defective shower pan(installed by others). Cory and his crew were prompt, responsive and professional throughout the entire project. The finish trim work, sheetrock texture all appear as if no damage ever occurred. Thanks for a great job!

We hired for help with our feasibility before purchasing a property. I found it extremely helpful there is already so much to deal with during the process so having a pro help out was great. Made multiple trips to walk the property with us, got us fully set up with quotes for future jobs, and dealt with paperwork/county headaches so we didn’t have to! Also there was a lot I didn’t know about permits/set backs and it was very valuable to have someone to explain all of that to us before making our decisions!

We had the best experience building our own custom home with Cory at AC Burton Homes. The process began just as the world was facing "unprecedented times" and we couldn't have asked for a better home building experience. Cory was excellent with communication during the entire build process and was always available to answer any questions we had during construction. It meant so much to us that he was always aiming at keeping our build on time and on budget even though there were so many unknown factors along the way as supply chain issues popped up. We just had a house built by Cory and it has been everything we wanted. He was very patient with us even when our cabinet guy ditched us mid project. His workers are very professional and everyone pays close attention to detail. I would highly recommend him for anyone wanting to build a custom home.

In 2019 I came upon a CP General, LLC/AC Burton Homes "spec" home in a neighborhood in Olympia were I was looking at. It was brand new and it was the 1st open house. It was truly amazing and so beautiful down to every detail from the roof to the stamped concrete! I put in an offer that day and was lucky to get it. I was able to meet Cory the GC and found he picked every piece that went into the house, you could see it was a labor of love. Of course in new construction there is always bugs that need to be worked out and I can't express enough gratitude to Cory for his response times and his care. Even after covid hit and seemed to shut everything down he was still there often giving updates and just assuring me he is on it. I feel he takes such pride in his craft and maintaining a great relationship with his clients! I thoroughly enjoyed my experience with Cory, CP General/AC Burton Homes and would highly recommend him to anyone!

Everything was top standard with AC Burton Homes. Cory went above and beyond for us and our home, even spending hours of his own time under the house to help with a situation, leaving covered head to toe in mud. He shows that he truly cares about his customers and goes out of his way to help with anything that comes up. Something that falls short in construction is people not showing up when they say they will. This is something that you won't have to worry about with Cory, when he says he'll be there you can count on that.

My company hired CP General to build 3 houses in 2022. Cory did a terrific job communicating throughout each build. He was able to successfully trouble shoot every problem that came up. He was efficient and proactive. I'll continue to use CP General/AC Burton homes in the future.

I work with general contractors on a regular basis for my employer. When I had to file an insurance claim from water damage to my flooring in 2022, I had the option of finding my own GC. I had only worked with CP General once at my place of employment but decided to get an estimate from him for my floor damage. After receiving a few estimates, I decided to go with CP General. They came in at a competitive rate and Cory and his team did excellent and timely work. He helped me navigate the process with my insurance company and was very accommodating and easy to work with. My floors now look great and the water damage is in the past. I would definitely recommend CP General to others and they will be my primary 'go-to' for any future contracting needs.

We hired Cory to do an extensive remodel on our home a few years ago. He was very patient with us during the process and helped make our dream home come true! He is honest and follows thru. He cares about his customers and their satisfaction. We cannot recommend Cory and his sub-contractors enough. We give him a huge thumbs up. And even when there were issues with some of the work that was done, Cory made it right. We cannot recommend him enough!

I really had no idea what general contractors do until we started to develop our property in 2017. When we hired Cory I found out rather quickly that a GC is the guy who makes everything in the whole construction process happen! Cory did a fantastic job of coordinating all the subcontractors and getting the right crews and building materials out to the property on the right days. He’s a good listener and went out of his way to get our house and garage built the way we said we wanted them to be.

In 2015 I hired CP General, LLC to extensively remodel my home in Lakewood, WA.
They took the interior down to the studs, moved and opened walls, all new bathrooms and plumbing and wiring and lighting. They supported load-bearing walls with lovely wrapped columns. The old closed-in kitchen was opened up with new cabinets, a peninsula and floating uppers, some with glass fronts.
They seamlessly added new wood flooring to existing and you cannot tell.
They communicated well with the sub-contractors and kept me in the loop.
CP General took a personal interest in making my home turn out just as I dreamed and came back to correct any small issues until I was happily moved in.

We have been using Cory to build our home and every box has been checked! The attention to quality and detail is outstanding.
