After 60 years of living with my very outdated bathroom, I decided it was time to give it a much-needed remodel, as well as making it more functional for my current needs. After searching on Angi, I decided to contact Bath Planet. During the sales visit, the rep listened to my wants and needs; and in the end, I felt confident I would get everything on my wish list at a great price from a reputable company. The renovation went smoothly, and I got everything I wanted, plus low maintenance shower doors; no need to squeegee after every shower! Bath Planet's designer, Tracie Stern, was also an enormous help. She helped me decide between LVT floor designs based on my preferences. She went with me to compare styles, knew how much I needed and helped me place the order. She made the whole process so easy. I am SO GLAD I went with her suggestion. Also important, they contacted me afterwards to make sure I was happy with the end product. I highly recommend Bath Planet.

The staff that came to our house to give estimate and do the work were very professional and caring. They took the time to answer all our questions and explain various options. The work was done quickly and cleanly. The results were tremendous. We are very pleased with the results and would very much recommend Bath Planet for anyone who wants a bathroom renovation.

They, and all of their subcontractors, have handled many different aspects of a HUGE project to remove an old deck, add a new sunroom, replace windows, upgrade our electrical panel, and paint the entire interior of our house. We signed a contract on 1/14/25 and the install was complete on 1/28/25. The process was easygoing. We are very excited about our new shower!! We would recommend this company to anyone looking to remodel or make changes to fit their own needs. We are grateful for the quick install.

Bath Planet just completed our tub/shower replacement in our home. Overall we were very pleased with their quick response when we requested a proposal and the fast turnaround time for installation. Our installer, Ed, was so very professional and did a great job.

micro-burst last August. I contacted 5 contractors and received responses from two..
AAPCO was approximately 8% lower. AAPCO had installed my siding in 1988, and they were able to match the appearance. Work completed in one day and beautifully matched to the rest of the house.

We are very happy with the repacement of our old fiberglass tub with a new walk-in shower. We also love the replacement of our lineoleum floor with LVP. Tracie and Andre of Bath Planet were great to work with!

DO NOT HIRE AAPCO TO WORK ON YOUR HOME! They proved to render substandard work.

My family hired AAPCO in October 2021 to replace eight windows in our home to reduce outside noise. We specifically told AAPCO that noise prevention was our main concern, and they assured us their windows would make our home quieter.

In early 2022, AAPCO came to install the windows. A member of the install team called me to the master bedroom where he was installing new windows and informed me the windows were too small. He asked me not to tell his manager. At that time, we instructed AAPCO to stop work.
AAPCO’s management reassured me continuously that everything was fine with the windows. I allowed AAPCO to proceed at that point.

AAPCO installed the windows improperly and without regard to the appearance such as leaving a saw blade gash in one of my windowsills.

Prior to hiring AAPCO, our windows were professional and aesthetically pleasing. After AAPCO, they were an eye sore. Afterwards, our bedroom was consistently 10 degrees colder, and all eight windows in the home let in a draft and a loud howling sound on windy days.

Since February 2022, we contacted AAPCO on numerous occasions requesting that they please come resolve the issues with the windows. We either did not receive a response or received a delayed and unmeaningful response.

From February 2022 to June 2024, we allowed AAPCO back into our home about five times to address the issue. AAPCO denied any wrongdoing and disregarded our complaints of the howling wind sound and draft, despite video evidence. I explained to AAPCO numerous times it was preventing me from sleeping at night and that I was having to sleep on the couch in the living room.

In June 2024, we hired a lawyer after more than two years of back and forth with AAPCO. We sued AAPCO in Stafford General District Court. Our expert testified in Court that AAPCO ordered the wrong size windows and installed them improperly.

The Court ruled in AAPCO’s favor because their contract stated that the only way a homeowner could address defective work was by allowing AAPCO the opportunity to fix it. Since AAPCO never explicitly refused to fix the issues—despite repeatedly demanding more proof and ignoring it—the court decided I couldn’t sue them for failing to make repairs. AAPCO even countersued me, claiming that the three years of back-and-forth communication wasn’t a good-faith attempt to resolve the dispute before I hired a lawyer.

Home Depot replaced the poor workmanship initiated by AAPCO. Now there is no draft or howling wind and the noise from our neighbor’s dog is significantly less. All this to say, I do not recommend hiring AAPCO.

Update: AAPCO just responded to my review saying I am lacking context and the court ruled in their favor.

The court ruling in their favor is true however, it was solely because their contract states that only AAPCO can remedy any issues. After more than two years of back and forth with numerous visits back to my home AAPCO failed to fix my issues so I sued and hired Home Depot to replace their poor installation which as I mentioned in one visit from Home Depot was fixed.

This company can and will string you on for years and does not have to resolve your issues and there is nothing you can do about it based on how their contract is written.

Review for (AAPCO): I am extremely dissatisfied with the services provided by [AAPCO] for the restoration of my home. While the siding came out nice and my home no longer resembles Swiss cheese, the overall experience has been highly frustrating and disappointing.
Detailed Issues Encountered: Interior Damage and Repairs: I spent the last two months banging down nails inside the home to put up drywall. Several electrical lines had to be replaced due to 4" nails protruding through the other side after the insulation was installed.
Unwanted Changes: I had no say in the door that was placed in my home and felt threatened into accepting it. Further more the door doesn't even work right and was given keys that don't even work. On top of that the frame work was done inappropriately and not to code. The window installed was not what I asked for, even though it is a nice window.
Gutter Issues: I requested leaf guards but was told they were unnecessary. I was assured 5" gutters would be sufficient, but only 4" gutters were installed. My gutters are now clogged, and several areas where gutters should be installed were left undone, with only half the house completed.
Siding and Finishing Problems: The Jay beads were not cut or installed in places needed and the windows were not wrapped. Some belongings were broken during the process, with no empathy shown by the workers.
The siding is already buckling, and some pieces were cut too short.
Arguments and Lack of Professionalism: There were too many arguments, including petty disputes over a single shutter. I was told they don’t put shutters on the back of houses.
Conclusion:
Overall, my expectations were not met. The company's lack of professionalism, poor quality of work, and high costs have left me extremely dissatisfied. I give them 2 stars only for the time it took them to complete the house. However, the numerous issues and lack of attention to detail make it difficult for me to recommend their services to anyone.

I just had a new roof and windows put in at my home in Henrico County by Aapco. I’m delighted with their workmanship, diligence, and expertise. The workers were precise and very attentive of my needs. I highly recommend AAPCO for all your home improvements.

An awesome, beautiful, 2-day job done by a group of top-rated installers. The workers came and went straight to work. They cleaned up every piece of old siding and trash and even blowed all those dreaded leaves off my deck. Bryan. who handled all the business pieces, was on point and didn't pressure. He made a separate trip out to show me samples of some brick siding that I wanted in a specific area on the front of my house. I have received so many wonderful comments. I am so happy I decided to replace my old siding. I give them 5 stars. Please share my "Thank You" with the installers. A job well done.

Took 3 months to get the correct siding for our project .When correct product arrived the installers were here the next day to get the project started. Other than waiting for the siding I would recommend this company .

Had 7 windows replaced TODAY and the installation went wonderfully. I did make sure to review the project with the lead installer prior to any work beginning and identified that there were some intricacies to my project that they were not aware of but I wont hold it against anyone. In my case I had one premium window that I needed in one room for a more tightly, environmentally controlled space as well as removal of an old awning and as soon as I brought it to the attention of the installers they were on it.

The sales experience was equally as great and I didn’t feel overly pressured to purchase as I had with other companies and the timeline from order to install was QUICK.

HIGHLY recommend for window projects.

It’s pricey but i believe its worth it.CS are responsive and the contractors comes back on site to fix issues in due time. On side Note: The contractors are all skilled workers but i believe the company needs to find way to lower their cost to be more competitive .

Im writing this because clearly AAPCO either does or does not know Solartyme is doing its customers wrong. They should know. Solartyme installed a 24 panel, Generac inverter and battery system in Sept '21. Imagine my annoyance, moral repugnance, disappointment, loss of use and general anger towards this company who since then has only given me the run around, sending 1 person (who cannot complete nor evaluate the issue) never having enough time or doing the proper things. Specifically misdiagnosing a panel and not replacing Generac Snap RS 802's under warranty. Something James Scaife acknowledged is a requirement under their warranty. I live 3 hrs away. Perhaps they shouldnt have taken the job. But imagine you being in my shoes and emailing every few months only to get a ZERO.

The windows are crystals clear, decreased outside noise, and so smooth to open and close. So happy we invested the money. The instillation was like clockwork! The team was were so knowledgeable and professional. Prepared for and cleaned up after installation.Cannot say enough good things about them! Thank you all.

Siding was installed on my two story home. They did a excellent job, I would highly recommend them. On time an quick service.

We chose AAPCO for window replacement for our home. We opted for the Aspect 501 series windows. We are very satisfied with the new windows and the installation. The windows were a perfect balance of performance, quality and price for us when compared to other brands.

They did twelve windows replacement work and thus far everything has been good.With some patience I may have gotten the work done a little cheaper but who knows how everything may have turned out,so overall I believe I made a good decision with this Company

Called to get get a quote but it’s seams too complicated to get it done !!!
I’m in process of going Solar ,few company quotes and few still coming ,now I need to replace the roof and I’m going throw same things .
House been mesures by few ,I wanted to give the mesure and get a quote specially now time ,everything is done remote by aurora software as initial step .
That wasn’t possible and the insist the both me and my wife need to be there for the quote !!!
Sorry but this is too complicated as initial step .
They refused he said thank you for you time and hung up .
I guess that’s how it’s done in 2023 !!

AAPCO replaced my vinyl siding on my home. Everyone was very professional, and I was very pleased with the job they did.

I purchased and Custom door and storm door. It was installed in the time I was promised and looks amazing. The crew did everything perfectly and cleaned up the area when done. Highly recommended

I used this group for two major construction projects. The first was replacing a very large roof, and the other was glassing in the screened porch, making it a sunroom. In both cases, the work was really outstanding. They did everything that they said they were going to do and they thought of a lot of things that needed to be done and extended the scope of their project in meaningful and very cost-effective ways.

They were extremely easy to talk to. We understood what each other needed and met each other‘s expectations quickly and completely.

Their team of subcontractors was top-notch. I think they all work for this company. They understood their roles and they were outstanding in how they handle their jobs. They really knew what they were doing. They never tried to scrimp or avoid the priority tasks that needed to be done. Their ideas were wonderful, and their skill set was outstanding.

I would absolutely use this group again, and I would recommend them to others. Neither of these projects was inexpensive. That should say enough that after having a very large roof replaced, I called them in to do an expensive and extensive renovation of a room.

I concluded that, “they are the best“.

Worst contractors I've delt with. Hired them to replace siding and windows, and to take down my chimney last year. Right off the bat I should have known what I was getting myself into, guy came to give an estimate and pulled the "if you don't sign this contract today we can't guarantee this price" game. Regardless, I went ahead, they still managed to give me a better price than the previous 2 companies that came out.

When they came to replace my siding, the guys started putting new vinyl siding over my existing cedar shake siding, which is absolutely not what I agreed to. They had to call the office and after some back and forth, they took down what they put up, and began pulling off the existing siding. Glad they did because some sheets of plywood underneath were completely deteriorated. Then, they start nailing foam board insulation to the house, and then the vinyl siding. THEY DIDN'T USE HOUSE WRAP. When I asked the vice president Mike about this, he said they never have used it in the past 30 years of business. Right.

They also installed perferated vinyl soffit vents, but installed them over the existing boards that were there. When I asked about that, I was initially told they had drilled holes through the boards to provide ventilation. After going into my attic and finding out they didn't, Mike told me I didn't pay for that service. Great.

Lastly, when I had my chimney removed, they hired subcontractors, who not only damaged my roof and gutters around the chimney, but they called me up beforehand and told me the house had no framing behind the chimney, and they would need to put new framing in where the chimney existed, and that it would cost an additional $7,200. I agreed to pay it, until I saw them take down the chimney. There was no additional framing necessary! I called them up and told them about this, and they changed the story to "I was misquoted originally"

After arguing with Mike for a few weeks, he lowered the additional $7,200 to $3,650, and refused to repair my gutters or roof until they received that money and even threatened me with lawsuits. Please avoid this company at all costs.

One window and one exterior door was replaced, and the service was excellent. The installation technicians were very professional. They cleaned up as they went along and they left zero mess -In addition, they were in and out in a timely fashion. The products look great. I am very pleased with the service of this company. I hired AAPCO, LC to install E-shield in 2010. They talked to me extensively while bidding the job and securing the contract. Facts: The actual installer, 1 guy, who apparently was the lead guy, had to leave for 1 1/2 hours to meet a crew, worked until after 6pm, then was out the door quickly. I was recovering from knee surgery so I had stuck my head up in the attic, didn't really know what I was looking at. I realized a couple of weeks later that the work was shoddy, slapped up, very inconsistent spacing, E-shield just thrown over things in certain areas. I called the office twice and was told they'd get back to me. I called again and arranged a sales presentation with their guy about the Freon additive for your heat pump that's supposed to save you money. I listened for a while, said I wasn't interested, then asked if he'd look at my E-shield installation. He said he would pass it along to the office and left the way they do when you say 'no' at a timeshare sales meeting. That's not a joke, he turned his back on me and walked away. I gave up.
My opinion: This is a company that's interesed in selling you something.

Service was postponed 4 times with no contact. But upon actual arrival, the team got to work and I absolutely love our new door! The color is beautiful and I can see savings in our future in regards to heating and AC. Also provided paint sample for any small touchups needed. The security this new door provides is priceless.

They are a bit pricey, but they do excellent work. Their workers worked very hard from the time that they got here until they left. No
goofing off whatsoever.

The team supplied a quality sliding door and installed gutter guards. The quality of product and service was excellent and will definitely contact again for future projects.

Front and back door replacement 10/11/22. From the beginning of the process with Bryan C., the communication with office personnel to the installation of the doors by Alex; all went smoothly/according to plan. Alex ensured doors were operational before finalizing work even if required additional time. Thank you all! Definitely completing more home projects with your company again.

The work we had done was complete vinyl siding including removing the old siding. I’d like to commend the crew from RZ Siding Construction, Ronald Morales, and his crew. They worked extremely hard to insure my wife and I were pleased and went out of their way to insure that the job was completed professionally and expertly. I would also like to commend Jerry the overall site manager on insuring we had the best crew as possible and the job was completed in a timely manner. As in all projects, there is always something you wish you had added to the contract but didn’t. The manager Jeff was able to find materials to complete what we wanted free of charge. We appreciate the follow up by Britany and by Tom. So far so good and we have received quite a few compliments on how the house looks now. Thank you!

We had windows replaced in our home. They worked with us and installed our windows ahead of schedule. They cleaned up and we are pleased with the end result.

I had 12 windows replaced at my house went with upgraded sliders and They got him installed 2 weeks at a time and did a wonderful job

We had our windows installed on Friday. There was a team of about 10 that came out and installed all 18 windows and a sliding glass door. Everyone was very courteous and polite and they cleaned up after themselves like they were never there. We will definitely be using the company for future home renovation needs!

We had gutters and siding installed. We had a few quality issues but when we called they were quick to fix them.

Several years ago AAPCO installed a walk through door from the garage to the outside. It was top notch from start to finish. This year we ordered 2 doors and a storm door. As before the doors are great. They are solid quality doors. When there was an install issue, they were very responsive about how to fix the problems. They sent a quality control person to take a look and scheduled a date to come out and rehang the doors. Due to weather and illness a reschedule or two was required. They came out today and corrected the issues with the doors and they let us know there was a missing part that they let the office know about and someone will contact us to install that part. The doors function fine but that one piece ensures a closer fit.

The storm door just doesn't seem to be our luck. We picked what we thought was door with a lower kick plate so it wouldn't cover the panes of the see through door. It covered the whole first row. One of the managers took the time to come out and help us order a second storm door. He even called the manufacturer on our new choice to get the exact measurements of the kick plate before ordering. When they came to rehang the doors and install the new storm door, the kick plate still covers the majority of that first pane. They tried, they really did, but their product lines don't have what we want. This isn't AAPCO's fault and they spent a good amount of time trying to get us what we wanted.

We love our doors. They are good quaility doors and look nice with the home. Down the road we will probably replace the storm door with a different one.

We had all of our windows replaced and are really happy with the job. I thought the price was competitive, the installation team was quick and super helpful. The windows seem really nice and the lifetime warranty absolutely gives us peace of mind. I feel like this really adds value to our home and we’ll enjoy the windows for a long time.

We have used AAPCO since 1994, to install window, siding, roof and doors and have been very happy with the quality of all of the products and professionalism with the installers. We just replaced all of our windows again.

They quoted me $27000 for a 24 square roof. After saying that the price was way too high, a week later they offered me $20000 for architectural shingles and $16000 for the standard 3-tab shingles. I got multiple estimates and got architectural shingles for $11400. Bottom line, get a lot of estimates!

Answered all of my questions. My installation was done in a very timely manner. The crew cleaned up after, leaving nothing behind but my new roof!

So thankful to have chosen this company for our projects. Jim, Mike, Brittany and Lauren along with the other staff were incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and a delight. They made the whole project run smoothly. This is how a business should operate!

Last year we did had our roof done by AAPCO. Mike Mannion our representative help us out with our roof which we are very happy with. We called Mike back out the end of 2020 about replacing our outdated metal windows. The works was just finished and we are very pleased with the results. I highly recommend this company. AAPCO did a fantastic job replacing a sliding glass door. The pricing was fair and the product was delivered exactly the way I needed it

I have had three projects attempted by AAPCO since 2016. AAPCO completed our siding, composite deck, and replaced a couple of doors. The three doors were all installed as one project (same day). I was happy with the siding job, never happy with at least one of the storm doors install, and satisfied with the composite deck until problems started to manifest. It took over a year to get the storm door to be functional, at best...and many trips for AAPCO to do so. It could be a manufacture problem or install problem with the deck. With the siding install, all adjustments and corrections were done in a timely manner. Fast forward to March 2021. Paul came out to provide a couple of estimates on some exterior work on my home. He seemed knowledgeable about the jobs, very helpful, patient and polite. I appreciated the fact that I did not feel pressured into my purchase decision, but felt that Paul took the time needed, listened and answered all of my questions. I initially did a positive review on goggle, but it was based off of the politeness of the "sale" experience with Paul. I signed the contract on the job then cancelled before the 72 hour as I started to recall my 3 door install and my composite deck. Then I started to recall how much I paid for these projects and my experience of how much I have had to work to get AAPCO to take care of a problem "correctly"...the stress, headache, etc.. Then I wondered, why I have even bothered to go back to this company for more projects??? Because of my first positive experience, I have wanted to trust AAPCO, but now carefully recalling past experiences it will be determined. I will have to wait to see how AAPCO resolves my issues, especially the huge problem with my deck and whether all will be done correctly, professionally and in a timely manner. Only then could I ever recommend this company to anyone. So for now, I will give a 3 star overall rating.

I don't normally give reviews but after dealing with some businesses that don't give quality work, and then finding one that goes above and beyond I have to give a shout out. Aapco installed some patio doors for me, and I am more than happy with their service. It wasn't an easy installation and they had to come back the next day to finish, but finish they did!!!! Their professionalism and quality of work is excellent and I am sooo happy with my new doors. :) I will be calling on them in future and recommending them to anyone who needs new patio doors...which I believe is everyone in my complex!!! :)

The salesman, Paul Atkinson, came out to our house in Chesterfield, Va to check out our garage door and frame that needed replacing. We set up the appointment at that time. When they arrived, we did hear them pull in but we wee busy doing something. Finally we remembered they were here and went out to look and they were gone. You can tell that this is a premium door for sure. All work completed like nothing was wrong to start with and they, also, cleaned up beautifully after themselves. We needed new windows and doors throughout the house. From start to finish it was a great experience. We were nervous because we had read some bad customer service reviews. However, we got three estimates and for the price, the quality, and an outstanding warranty on the windows and doors we decided to go with AAPCO. We are very pleased with the installed products and the professionalism and attention to detail by the installers. I would recommend this company to my family and friends.

We used them to replace several windows. Their quote was in the middle of the ones we got, and Mike was great helping us find the best windows for our home. They were on time for measuring and installation. They were professional and quick. We will definitely work with Mike to replace the rest of our windows.

I had AAPCO install a new roof earlier this year and do some trim repairs and gutter work. It was probably the worst experience I have ever had with a company. When they installed the new roof, they re-installed 30 year old vent covers until I said something. When the roofing crew was removing the old roof they carelessly threw down the old shingles hitting the sides of our white vinyl siding and left black marks everywhere. When they first repaired the gutters, it looked as if a 10 year old had done the work, it took 3 tries to get it repaired right and they still didn't complete all the gutter work that was in the initial work contract. After several tries to clean the siding, the service manager asked if we had taken pictures of the siding before the work started as if we were lying and I guess he expects people to take pictures of their home before AAPCO works on it. I would think he would have a higher opinion of his company. He then offered me $200 and gutter guard on the back gutter, guess the front gutter didn't need it. They then wanted me to sign a letter of completion so they could get paid but hadn't even completed all the gutter work. Their vice president came out ( a very nice man) and apologized and worked up a new work order giving me a larger discount, gutter guard on the back ( I had to pay extra for the gutter guard on front of the house ) and a work order to finish the gutter work originally contracted for. I never heard from or saw the company again until I filed a complaint with the BBB. The VP called me to apologize and said he thought the work had been completed. Why he had any confidence that the work would be completed without following up with us is a mystery to me. He had workers come out immediately and complete the work. It took almost 3 months from start to finish and a lot of phone calls and stress to get the job finished.

Update ; Their gutter guard doesn’t work either. I still have to get up on the ladder and clean under the guard at the downspouts.
