AAA #1 Roofing

Found a leak in my carport and addition to my home. The ceiling and back wall were completely rotted out, it had been leaking for years because the previous work was done improperly. Derek came out and gave me a quote and got to work a few days later. His crew was so fast and everything looks amazing! Every question I had was answered and he explained what was going on every step of the way. If you want an honest company give Derek a call. I couldn’t ask for a better company to deal with such a large project. Thank you!

Derek came and helped us look for an issue causing a wall being wet. He was extremely detail oriented. Even though we couldn't identify the exact cause, he gave us really good step by step explanation on what we should do next to prevent the issue in the future. He helped us caulk a small siding for free. We really appreciate him for being so friendly and helpful! Highly recommend.

I own a townhome with a shared wall, so I share the roof with one other owner. They had a leak on their side and we unexpectedly needed to quickly figure out whether we could do a repair or needed a full roof replacement. After speaking with multiple roofers, we felt we were getting confusing information and didn't know who to trust - their assessments and bids were all over the map. Derek was recommended to us, and was truly fantastic. He came out and took his time explaining what was needed and why, patiently showing us details. This was really impressive given he was clearly busy with other ongoing projects! He answered our many questions, and gave us helpful tips on what to consider or prioritize as we examined bids (these were borne out by research we did as well). He uses quality materials and was very thorough in his assessment and the quote he provided. It was a tough call, and the other owner and I went back and forth; while we decided to go with another company, I truly believe this was a situation where we couldn't lose either way. I would have been happy to hire Derek and AAA #1 Roofing and recommend him to anyone looking for roofing bids.

Derek went above and beyond to fix my massively leaking roof! It seemed like a simple fix, but turned out to be challenging because the installation was a DIY job done incorrectly and he had to do extra work to fix it, and he not only did it fast, but he didn't charge me extra and stuck to his original price promise. I was referred to AAA #1 Roofing by a co-worker so I called for an estimate on tear off and re-roof. Derek came to the house and did a thorough estimate and was very clear about materials needed and all the details about the job. He was very professional and answered all my questions and concerns.
His crew showed up and had the old roof torn off and new roof installed in a matter of hours. The job went without a hitch.

Called to have some minor work done on our roof and scheduled an appointment to have it looked at and get an estimate. Appointment time comes and goes with no call or email about a reschedule or cancelation. Call the company and speak to someone who claims they were at my house two years ago and the roof is leaking everywhere and needs to be replaced (it doesn't, just passed an inspection by surelock homes). Claims he didn't want to come out and look because that would make them liable for my roof. Claiming not wanting liability is one thing but completely bailing on a customer without any notification is another. Glad to know that after "35 years" of roofing they haven't learned a thing about customer service.

Derek came to our house right after a major storm to check out a leak in our roof, we were renters of the home, so we didnt jave final say on who to hire and though he was so busy, he still made time to make sure we were safe and not in danger from the leak. He is very professional and reasonable in his quotes. I also applaud his constant community service and support his company gives! You're not just getting a good roof, but helping your community!

When my roof sprung a leak at my house in Graham 5 years ago, I gave Derek a call. He went right out and assessed the situation and called me back with a quote. He and his crew were out the next day and did an amazing job on my roof. Not one problem in over 5 years. Highly recommended!

AAA#1 is amazing they reroofed my entire roof and were fast. They were able to get my roof in with in a week from coming out and quoting me. Derek and his crew were very efficient and friendly. He went above and beyond to try and save me as much money as he could. I would recommend him to anyone that needs a roofer!

I'm not quite half way through the projected life of an ELK Prestige roof installed by Derek and his crew. Last winter a number of problems surfaced at several locations. None of these were major, but all needed to be addressed promptly lest serious damage occur.

I contacted him in Spring 2016 ... he was too busy to come ... no problem ... so long as we got it resolved before the fall rains. Throughout the summer and into fall I left a stream of calls/messages (stopped counting at twenty) trying to get something scheduled. Not once did a human answer his phone when I called. Not once did he return my calls. I also have called his cell phone, same deal. Even sent an email or two using his web site ... no response whatsoever.

I assume Derek and his crew remain in business and are still roofing ... can't say for sure given the zero response to my contact attempts. What I can say is he did the original install on my roof; and he wouldn't service it when called upon. Any loyal client deserves response to a request for service, don't you think?

Take from this what you will. I will not engage AAA#1 Roofing on any future roof projects.

This guy claimed to the best and that is why he charged so much. He claimed he would fix the roof right the first time. Unfortunately, when the roof started leaking in the exact same area, but now even worse, he promised to come out to look at it for over 3 months. He never did. I finally had to call another contractor.
