He showed up on time for the first visit, sent a very professional estimate detailing exactly what was to be done.
Came when he said he was coming Fair pricing Did everything he said was going to do with no surprises.
I rely on Al and his team for everyday maintenance and repair, but he blew me away with his renovation expertise.
I would definitely recommend ARG handyman.. they're very professional, on time and everything was cleaned up before they left.
Excellent company! Responsive, arrived on time, thorough in all aspects of work and even cleaned my surrounding floors of sheet rock dust!

What Users Like The Least

Installer never brought to our attention that we might have the wrong door.
New tub installed with the lowest model available... still had the leak!
We contacted them explained everything we needed to have done... no response.

Al did great work for me. I needed to have a several things done. He was able to do this in two visits. Al & his team were professional & cleaned up after their work was done. If you are looking for an honest handyman who is fair with pricing I highly recommend. ARG Handyman Services!

Came to install pre hung door. The door lowes sold us ended up being incorrect , however during the installation , installer never brought to our attention that we might have the wrong door. Didn't bring to our attention that the new door wouldn't open the same as the original door. Proceeded to install thedoor backwards. I feel as a professional he should of brought it to the our attention that the new door is different and doesn't match the original door. When I told him it was wrong he proceeded to say I just hung what you bought. I Said as a professional I would have appreciated being made aware that the door was wrong . Refused to come back and fix without having to pay full amount a second time. This all could of been avoided if it was brought to our attention . Very unprofessional.

I highly recommend A R G Handyman Services. Al was very easy to work with and most importantly (and rare) for contractors was punctual, finished the job when he said he would and cleaned up and took all the construction debris. He showed up on time for the first visit, sent a very professional estimate detailing exactly what was to be done and was available and on time (again) to start work. He took on a difficult job many contractors had turned down, vinyl plank flooring that had been partially installed in the basement but not finished and did a beautiful job without complaints. He also installed laminate counterops and sink and replaced some very sketchy plumbing done by the previous owner. Most importantly, he showed grace, patience and professionalism when my account at Venmo was frozen and the final payment was delayed. I am truly impressed and wish A R G great prosperity.

Replaced our cracked tub, faucets, and tile. New tub installed with the lowest model available (we called the company asking why it was rusting within a year of being replaced.) Still had the leak! Faucets that he replaced were loose. He came and fixed them but they still were still loose so we had to fix it ourselves. Caulking turned brown and started coming out of the wall within a month. We had to fix it ourselves. Nice guy, but the quality of work was not good. Did not offer to come and fix the continued problems. Not the easiest to get in touch with if there are issues with his work.

He came to do bathroom and a few other fixtures. Professional, on time and dependable. Called if anything had to be changed. I would recommend these guys. The job was done in 2 days.

We met them at the horse rescue event in Newton. We were so happy to see an animal lover & a handyman at the same event. We contacted them explained everything we needed to have done, a fence fixed, a side of a shed replaced, a wood shed or at least a covering built, a roof for our dog kennel replaced, an arbor fixed ( some of this was storm damaged) we called a few times & finally we heard back explained all that needed to be done & finally they came out to give estimates, he said he would have the estimates by the weekend, no response, contacted to say do you really want the job, oh yes was the response, I promise to have estimates by weekend, no response, contacted, no response, contacted one last time, no response. There is nothing I hate more then no responses..your busy we get it, if you couldn’t do our job today then give us a date, you missed an opportunity- we are the most easy going people. I’m so disappointed in the lack of communication, you need to hear this review because you cannot continue business this way.

I would definitely recommend ARG handyman.. they're very professional, on time and everything was cleaned up before they left. I will definitely call them after the holidays for more work around my home... these guys are GREAT!!!
