I contacted A-PLUS GUTTERS about having some gutters and fascia wrap work done about four years ago. Met with Israel who wrote a quote. I had a couple of questions and changes to work proposed. I was never able to speak to him again. All messaging was then done through Nancy, his wife, but it always took a while to get an answer. I also had to drive to their shop to speak to an employee who gave conflicting info regarding materials. Finally signed the contract and work was done. It looked OK but it turned out one gutter span did not drain. Called and was told Israel would contact me. He never did and eventually Nancy had someone come out and fix it. Gutters helped over time but they always leaked at corners. Called again and nobody followed through. Ends were not sealed inside so I fixed it myself.

Fascia wrap is powder coated sheet aluminum bent and cut to fit. I recently noticed that all along the bend lines there is blistering and corrosion on the aluminum. When powder coating is bent the coating can be stressed and shattered letting moisture in which starts corroding the unprotected aluminum. Looks to be cheaper thin coating that can't be bent to that degree without compromise. It's bent by a brake that creates a very sharp 90 degree angle. Different tooling would help but that machinery requires more of an investment.

I called and spoke to Nancy. She said Israel would call. He did not. I called two days later and she said Israel would call. He did not. I called several times four days later. Nobody answers the phone or at least when my number shows I guess. Not surprised.

Not a small price and it looks like A-PLUS doesn't stand behind their work or materials used. Tough re-do to fix the problem and the results would probably be the same.
A-PLUS does NOT give a written guarantee on work or materials on estimates or contracts. I did ask Israel and he "implied" that it was. That one is on me.

Expensive moisture damage repair on something sold as long lasting moisture damage protection. I should have gone elsewhere.

Took a week to get an estimate, then 1 month after that for the install appointment, on the day of the install, no body showed up or call, after numerous attempts to call, Nancy returned my call and informed me that they didn't receive my deposit, I was sent an email the previous day with instructions for the deposit, I sent the deposit the next morning before the appointment, but was told now they would order my materials and come back in a few days, I canceled the job, please be careful with this company's communications, they are lacking.

Very professional and polite young men who did an outstanding job at our house. The weather wasn’t the best, but that didn’t slow them down in repairing my broken storm water drain pipe. Highly recommend A Plus!
