We are really pleased with the bathroom remodel completed by 4 Seasons Midwest. The workers were friendly and professional and worked diligently to finish the job. We had one issue with a small leak under the vanity sink but the fix was made on the same day we identified the problem. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend 4 Seasons.
From the first text message to the last touch-ups, our experience working with 4 Seasons Midwest was a very pleasant surprise.
Setting up the initial appointment was as simple as sending a text message. Mike was very responsive, easy to work with, accommodated our schedule without a second thought, and was naturally respectful of our time.
On the day of the appointment, he gave us a heads-up 20 minutes in advance to let us know that he was on his way, but that he might be up to 10 minutes late, due to delays in delivering materials for another job site. Despite the unforeseen circumstances and rush-hour traffic, he was right on time.
The consultation itself was relaxed and centered around what we needed and wanted, not on what they wanted to sell us. Mike was patient and forthright, giving us direct, unbiased answers to our many questions. He provided us with all the contextual information we needed to make our own, informed decision, filling in the gaps by answering questions we should have asked without leveraging his expertise to steer the conversation in a way that put his interests above our own. Our best interests were always the focus of the consultation.
At every point in the process, they were immediately accessible whenever we had a question or concern, and any issues we raised were addressed and resolved the same day. In fact, any concerns we had were usually handled within a few hours, at most. Mike may not appreciate me sharing this, but he literally almost died near the beginning of the project, and was still communicating with us from the ER. If that's not dedication to putting the customer first, I don't know what is.
As for the project itself, we had all of our windows and doors replaced in August of 2024. Both the windows and doors were 40+ years old, so we also had to have the frames, sills, wrapping, and thresholds torn out and replaced, along with the windows and doors themselves.
The guys that worked on our project were: Mark as the on-site lead, Travis and Dave assisting, and Jeff overseeing our project and another project as the master carpenter.
All of the guys were consummate professionals. They were courteous, considerate, careful, and genuine. They went out of their way to work around our weird schedule, and throughout the job they were all accommodating and kind towards my Autistic son. When my son asked anxious questions, they took the time to give him calm, reassuring answers without talking down to him or getting impatient.
Mark ran an efficient, punctual ship that hustled without rushing, paid attention to detail without losing sight of the bigger picture, and had a warm, genuine atmosphere while still maintaining strict professionalism. Their clean-up of the job site every day after they were done was so thorough, I almost forgot to mention it.
Travis made our window trim look so good that we still haven't put most of our curtains back up.
Dave made our front and back storm doors such a pleasure to open and close that they still bring me a satisfied smile every time I use them.
And Jeff brought the decades of experience and a mastery of his craft that made sure everything looked good and worked well, even when the foundation had settled a bit more here than there, and a wall wasn't perfectly perpendicular to the floor.
Now that we've had a little more than four months with our new windows and doors, with a good mixture weather, I can confidently report that our energy usage has noticeably dropped across the board, the glass filters out UV light while making the view twice as clear, and the insulation is so much better that you can tell a difference just by standing next to a window or door when it's either hot or cold outside.
Finally, 4 Seasons Midwest was the lowest bid out of the five companies we checked with, but the value they delivered was unbeatable. We're so impressed, we've already got a list of future projects drawn up that we want them to do.
We had a great experience with 4 Seasons and our updated deck! They exceeded our expectations in terms of quality of work, communication during the construction, and no surprise costs. We will definitely use them again and refer to our friends!
